Pedagogical conditions for developing students’ innovative thinking

 

The characteristic feature of modern education – is introducing into educational of process innovative technologies. Innovative educational environment of the university includes modern information and communication technologies used in education, information and educational content, individualization of training, highly qualified teaching staff [2].

The key role in the development of a personality, susceptible to innovative, play such social institutions as schools and colleges, that is why special attention should be paid to the formation of a modern professional. Education must begin with the creation of a new type of personality - a man of innovation.

The need to improve educational and innovative process in a university is specified by: the need for the formation of a new level of thinking, a creativity in work, deeper relations of all levels a structures of educational process.

The content of innovative education includes training in independent work, research, motivation self-development, self-actualization and self-improvement. The more creative activities of students and teachers in higher education become, the more innovative the educational environment will be.

The importance of learning and personal development of innovative future professionals is defined by the necessity of developing theoretical issues relating to concepts, contents and methods of psychological development. This determines the high level of social, scientific and practical significance of the study.

At the moment there is no clear definition of "innovative personality". Specialists specify a number of personal factors that influence the parameters of the innovative personality: the desire for novelty, the sensitivity to new experiences, ability to take risks, creativity, willingness to process information, independent judgment, openness to experience, knowledge, and others (A. Inkeles and M. Crozier, E. Rogers, OS Sovetova, AN Lebedev et al.)

In our research under of "innovation" we mean personal quality, contributing to the generation and implementation of new ideas, which is based on openness, tolerance and flexibility of thinking.

The pilot study was designed to identify personality correlates of innovativeness of the students, highlighting the characteristics that make up the psychological content of the studied phenomenon and made a portrait of an innovative person. The programme developing "innovativeness" of a student was prepared in lines with for experiment.

The program consisted of eight workshops. The author's program to develop innovative student was pilot of at Novosibirsk State Technical University. The main focus was made on relations with the profession, group and individual creativity (creative and analytical) work. During the formative experiment were carried out the following activities to: insurance of optimal development of students of innovation: development of creativity, inclusion of students in vocational and creative activities, use of non-traditional forms of work. Each workshop consisted of three stages: a creative exercise (for example, the method of focal objects, improvement of the subject, etc.), group work (work according to the method of E. Bono "Six Thinking Hats", etc.) and analysis of individual and group work.

The objectives of the formative experiment were resolved in accordance with the purpose of research - testing program for the development of innovation of the student.

During the formative experiment, carried out in a continuous educational process the following results were: the positive dynamics of formation of the factors of innovation in an experimental group of students, such as "ability to take risk", "imagination", "complexity" in the high level of significance of Mann Whitney. Experimental research has shown that it is necessary to development of innovative factors to the stage of training, according to experience and personal characteristics of their future profession will study at the university.

The results show that the programme can be used in the educational process of higher education. Innovative education should develop in man the ability and commitment to development and transformation, foster innovative student.

Conclusions:

- The course of the modernization of education involves the development and introduction of new technology training and education;

- Student of innovative learning environment is a self-developing person, capable of self-realization;

- The strategic objective of education in an innovative educational environment is the formation of a creative development of the individual student's ability to innovate.
