Implementation of the basic functions of management with

ERP-systems

    Currently, the development of any of the branches of the national economy would not take place without the use of information technology (IT). IT is an integral part of computer technology to effectively address a wide range of issues, such as assessment of the external and internal environment, business plans, ensuring the competitiveness of their products.

    The research allowed to select certain properties of IT, which ensure efficient management in any industry:

     - Are highly effective for the solution of economic problems;

     - Contribute to bridge the gaps between economics and mathematics, the development of relations in the field of international economic cooperation and integration in the single international information space to managerial decision-making.

    Analyzing the potential of information systems in management, it is necessary to highlight the decision support system (Decision Support System - DSS), which are used for several decades in developed countries.

    This is an interactive computer system designed to help manager's decision-making. [1] DSS include data and models, the necessary solutions for poorly formalized problems. Remove the data often are out-interactive query or database. Model for the calculation of profit under certain assumptions can be simple such as "profit and loss" or a complex type of optimization model for the calculations is the load of the equipment in the shop.

    Of any company in our time accompanied by registration and record all the details of his activities. However, without the accumulation of productive processing of raw data streams results in useless information. The basis of modern technology Data Mining [2] is a process of discovery in the raw data before the unknown, non-trivial, practically useful and accessible interpretation of the knowledge necessary for decision making in various fields of human activity. Application of Data Mining methods provides a tangible competitive advantage.

    Among the variety of software for scientific and engineering calculations point out a few packages that occupy a special place among his own kind.

     MATLAB package is a comprehensive software environment for the organization of scientific and technical calculations of virtually unlimited complexity. This package is designed for all major platforms: Windows, Mac OS and Linux / Unix.

    Microsoft Excel is actually made computers such ass-polar as they are today. Indeed, the need for constant calculations, ongoing maintenance of tables, lists, and statistics are in every company, in every business.

     In modern conditions of a market economy in Ukraine, issues of particular relevance to improve methods and styles of management of large industrial enterprises.

     In order to ensure its stable existence and position in the market of products, businesses necessary to use in their work the latest achievements of scientific and technical progress.

    One such factor is the use in production activities, working with the material and energy resources, most on recent advances in the implementation of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.

    The implementation of automated information systems always implies a shift to a higher degree of restoring order. Thus, as a rule, there is an increase business transparency, including investors, implying standardization of enterprise business processes and the development of a clear system of accounting. Therefore certification enterprises to ISO 9000 quality standards necessarily entails the introduction of ERP-systems.

     Currently on the market are the most popular EIS following integrated systems: BaaN, JD Edwards, Oracle Applications, SAP R/3. The clear leader among these systems is the SAP R/3, which is today the greatest interest among managers and owners of large companies.

     The SAP R/3 is composed of a set of application modules that supports the various business processes and integrated with each other in real time [3].

    The main modules of the system include:

    - Finance (FI);

    - Budget Management (FI-FM);

    - Controlling (CO);

    - Materials Management (MM);

    - Sales and Distribution (SD);

    - Maintenance and repair of equipment (PM).

    However, the introduction of ERP like SAP R/3 or Oracle Applications involves co-featured bout significant financial and organizational costs and resources.

    Therefore, at present more and more widely implemented the Information and Control Systems such as QlikView [4].

    Confidence in the quick return of the system is based on the successful experience of many large software companies fans operate in different industries. Among the users of the system - retailers, manufacturers and distributors of foreign products. List of industries for companies that work with the data system becomes indispensable in daily activities is not limited to: a program used by companies operating in the automotive industry, pharmaceutical industry, the mass-media, transport, telecommunications, production of consumer goods and high-tech devices.

    Program QlikView, using new patented technology of work with data, also has considerable power and is treated allows large arrays of diverse information, consolidating information, as required by the user. Thus, the program creates a new view of the business, provides a panorama of business processes - at the request of users detailed or extended - and creates a new managerial-mechanical vision. An important characteristic of the program, which also should be noted is the high speed of information processing, which allows reduces the time to collect or generate data in the required form and to concentrate on the main thing - the analysis and making the right decisions.
