Socialization features of students of pedagogical high school

 

The most important task of a modern society is the education and formation of a new generation of citizens who are able to master the information and make effective decisions. In this regard, the educational process in pedagogical universities aimed at humanizing. Liberal education shapes students personality, prepares him to live in a rapidly changing world, in the Information Society, and teaches modern forms of communication and interaction.

The process of socialization begins at birth and continues throughout a person's life. Socialization (from Lat. Solialis - public) - the process and the result of learning and active expression of individual’s social experience of values ​​and attitudes in his own experience. In the process of socialization a person acquires a social experience and directions, socially approved forms of behavior based on general humane values which is necessary for a full life in society [1].

An important task of pedagogical universities in all the training courses is to educate the citizen, active patriot, capable of social creativity, principled in defending their positions, a sense of responsibility for the fate of the country and the younger generation whom he will educate and train.

Socialization of the individual occurs in three areas - activities, communication and self-awareness [2].

- In the sphere of activity: expanding and deepening the knowledge and experience necessary to perform major activities, and active participation in the creative socially significant activities, personal initiative and commitment to social change in society and personal responsibility;

- In the field of communication: learning social norms and values​​, expanding and enriching the content and forms of communication (including professional), the acquisition of the ability to use different sources of communication that regulate the interaction of people, the development of communicative abilities;

- In the field of self-awareness: deepening the further formation of the image of his own "I" as an active subject of activity, understanding their professional orientation, formation of a stable readiness to perform professional duties, a new stage in the formation of self-esteem, self-regulation and self-expression.

In this regard, the pedagogical institute is an important social institution in the socialization of students.

Future teacher as an expert need not only professional knowledge and skills, but also such valuable reference as pedagogical culture, creativity, extraordinary thinking, the need for self-education and self-realization, the tendency to self-knowledge and self-improvement. Allocated value orientations are universal and determined by how deeply philosophical understanding of the world of the students. The country needs the active, energetic, creative teacher with active citizenship, initiative and responsibility. That vocational education creates a foundation for young professional fulfillment of professional skills during training, work experience and, as a result, willingness to professional teaching.

Successful socialization of students is one of the leading educational ideas of institutions and higher education. This idea can be only one way - creating conditions for students of freedom, creativity, personal acceptance and respect, joint cooperation and collaboration. In such conditions person can gain such spiritual and moral qualities as sensitivity, responsiveness, tolerance, human dignity, prudence, diligence and others.

The main idea of socialization of pedagogical high school students is the need to create in the future specialist of pedagogical profile such socially significant and professional-pedagogical qualities, corresponding to modern socio-economic conditions of the development of the society. It follows from the purpose of the educational process, implemented by the teaching staff of the university. Foundation for the implementation of this idea is the inclusion of students in the social life of the department, faculty, institution, city and country.
