content and forms of the social protection of children and families, about the
content of legislative acts, which constitute the legal framework of the state
social policy in the Republic of Kazakhstan on issues of family and family
education.
Training
through seminars in the discipline «Social protection of children and families»
is based on the competence approach. At the moment undoubtedly competence-based
approach, as relevant as ever in training and education. The attractiveness of
this approach lies in the fact that he has a strong practical orientation. In
its framework the ultimate goal of all learning lies in the fact that man has
mastered these behaviours, and bought a set of knowledge, skills and personal
characteristics that will enable it to successfully carry out the activity,
which he plans to do, that is captured by a set of necessary competencies [1].
In the
discipline «Social protection of children and families» are actively used
verbal, visual, and practical teaching methods. Among the above-mentioned methods
of training, practice has shown that the most effective conversations,
discussions, book and normative-legal documents, acts, decrees of the Republic
of Kazakhstan, video, videos, diagrams, tables, analysis of real situations
faced by social workers employed in the system of protection of family and
childhood (public institutions and NGOs).
Seminars
usually there is an alteration of individual communications students according
to plan, with preparation, messages to students on the basis of group analysis
articles, laws, regulations in the field of protection of family and childhood,
exercises and analysis of pedagogical situations. I would also like to note the
effectiveness of the application of seminars mind map.
The
intelligence map, or mind maps (mind-maps) is displayed on the paper an
effective way to think, to remember, to remember, to solve creative problems,
as well as the opportunity to present and clearly Express their internal
processes, information, make changes, improve [2]. Mind maps (original Mind
maps®) - development Tony Busen
known writer, lecturer and consultant on intelligence, psychology of learning
and thinking [3, 4].
Create a
mind map takes place in individual or group form. In the process of group
problem analysis seminars, usually more applicable group form of work on a mind
map. On the A3 sheet of paper, students are asked to create a mind map, for
example, on the topic of Social services child protection and family in the
Republic of Kazakhstan. Each student must call one or two known to him/her
social service and voiced add information to the common mind map.
After social
services named and listed in the General mind map (from the basic idea, in this
case, from the main concept of «Social service» radiate under-ideas, for
example, the names of the services), students begin to entering into a
intellect-map information of the second level. This may be characteristic
features, quality, departments, divisions, functions of social services. If
necessary, draw arrows connecting different concepts in different branches. For
clarity branches are numbered and added to the halos. Verbal images are
supplemented by drawings, making a mind map more illustrative, schematic
available for effective visual perception. Students then proceed to the
protection they created mind maps. In addition to the intuitive side of the
mind map can be still and auditory and tactile nature. For example, added to
video or audio recording, the display of items that you can touch, feel
kinesthetically.
The combination
of information, easy to understand people with different representational
systems, makes the mind maps on the discipline of «Social protection of
children and families» the most memorable method of teaching, structuring,
information processing, allowing each student to reach their intellectual and
creative potential. Group work, in turn, has a positive effect, by teaching
students to cooperate, to act cohesively together, sharing and changing if
necessary managerial role. These qualities are developed in seminars, in the
future allow students to become highly skilled, creative professionals, able to
work in a team, able to learn fast.
Assignments,
students formulate their own opinion and attitude to put forward at the seminar
the problem. During the group discussion, General conclusions are formulated.
Feedback is represented by a complex reflexive exercises, helps to consolidate
the acquired knowledge and "feel" a workshop on an emotional level.
The demand
for discipline «Social protection of children and families» due to the fact
that in the course of its study is the formation of the students ' holistic,
systemic understanding of the work of a social pedagogue in the system of
protection of the rights of children, women and families.
