GREAT KAZAKH SCIENTIST

Ahmet Baitursynov one of the great public figures, poets, scientists of the 20th century, associated with the history, culture and spirituality of the Kazakh people.

Scientist who realized that the most important point of political and social life of Kazakhs is equality, freedom and civilization. His educational activities was teaching in national schools, colleges, promotion of education among the people and writing textbooks. His work began at school, and in recent years he engaged in teaching in the Kazakh Pedagogical Institute. Being a great mentor, he also worried about issues of social life. One of his great works - picking and researching examples of Kazakh folk literature. This work is closely linked with educational activities. First, he set himself the goal to preserve the purity of the Kazakh language. In 1913, in the magazine "Shora", he cited an example of purity of the Kazakh language and how important his literary side, and in the article “Kazakhsha soz zhazushylarga” he showed the first mention of the Kazakh language and modern thought about it. Secondly, in his textbook for institutes “Adebiet tanytkysh”, he devoted an entire chapter to folklore. In the third, he showed the importance of literature as a national heritage in his work “Adebi tili zhok zhurt – zhogalgan zhurt” . In the fourth, he showed the importance of folk heritage in the child's upbringing. "The duty of every citizen to collect tales, not to lose them later," - to collect examples of folk art he has collected research expedition under his leadership.

Ahmet Bajtursynov’s activities can be divided into two parts: First - collect examples of folklore; Second - the organization of folklore expeditions, the use of different techniques in the study of folklore and writing books on literature;

Life of the great scholar has always been associated with creativity. Whatever the social difficulties, he always turned to folk literature, trying to find it as a way of kindness. Educational and creative life of the scientist can be divided into three stages:

1895-1909 years. Teaching in Yrgyz, Kostanai and Karkaly; 1910-1918 years. Working at “Kazakh” newspaper; 1919-1929 years. Work of public affairs and combining it with scientific and pedagogical activity.

All these stages of life have its own peculiarities. His research activities are very important for Kazakh people. He first introduced the subject of the Kazakh language and literature in the Kazakh language. Ahmet Bajtursynov not just an educator, he is a scientist too. His works are still important and relevant. Great influence on the activity of Ahmet Bajtursynov had Ybyray Altynsarin. Altynsarin contributed greatly to the Kazakh literature. Ahmet learned the alphabet and the chrestomathy of his mentor.

Ahmet met with the works of the great scientist Shokan Ualihanov in Orenburg. Shokan’s research activities influenced on Alash party members. Alash party member Myrzhakyp Dulatov’s articles about Shokan are important. Shokan Ualikhanov is the scientist, who had studied the native history and literature. He also refers to the theory of literature and his aesthetic thoughts have always been at a high level. Significance of his work about spirituality never disappear. Shokan Ualihanov’s works had a huge impact on members of Alash party, such as Ahmet Baitursynov, Alehan Bokeikhanov, Myrzhakyp Dulatov etc.
