The Methodology of creation a multi-media textbook by applying  telecommunication and multi-media technologies

В настоящей работе исследуется вопрос о применение современных технологий в учебном процессе. Приведён алгоритм разработки учебного педагогического программного средства для дистанционного обучения. В целях повышения эффективности учебного процесса синтезированы педагогические инновации и современные информационные технологии.

 

The question of choosing methods to conduct training classes is met every day.  It is practical. In order to settle this question a teacher must show his maximum independence as the concrete situations of training are too various.

Training technologies are traditionally used in the system of education as means of transferring some information and training. Technologies of knowledge are the tools which help students to expand such possibilities of their brain as memory, genealogical abilities and their  abilities to solve these problems.

The rapid development of new information and communication technologies changes the character of acquiring and disseminating knowledge. New technologies give opportunities to renovate the contents of training and methods of teaching. The basis of the new training technologies is using PC to transfer some information and maintain active and creative processes.

Increasing the volume of the information necessary for mastering an educational discipline we have to solve the problem of its effective transferring, organizing its maximum activity of trainers (learners) when mastering the methods and means which promote to increase (to rise) the creative concern to an educational discipline.

The determination of rational ways of using computer engineering and new technologies in educational process of high school has given psychological and -pedagogical substantiation of transition the educational system to new pedagogical technologies. The actuality of the investigation theme is defined by the expediency to perfect the method of training students by using applied programmed means (APM) realized on the basis of multi-media and telecommunication technologies.

Wide usage of computer training means in high school promotes the development of programmed and pedagogical means: teaching, controlling, cognitive and demonstrative programs in different disciplines of high school course. But at all varieties of offered electronic pedagogical training means in disciplines both the individuality of the concrete teacher's approach and the level of demands  presented to a real quota of students are not taken into consideration [1].

As the quantity of hours of practical classes decreases the basic load is on the independent student's work. Consequently, it requires more exact and complete explanation of lecture material, solution of scheduled problems at practical classes, realization of received knowledge and skills at laboratory classes and concrete planning of the independent work of students. For example, learning the basis of the English language and training oral and written speech, as well as the development of speech skills require effective mastering and consolidation the basic grammar structures. But it is not sufficient during lecture-hall studies.

The application of multi and hypermedia programs will help to solve these problems and enable the teacher who doesn't possess the means of objective programming to elaborate his own author's educational and pedagogical means (electronic multi-media textbooks) operating in WWW-system of the web Internet. The hypertext system allows the user to look through each page of the document. With the help of hypermedia system a teacher can create complete blocks of materials containing texts, graphs, video, sound, music, speech and etc. Multi-media is often created as hypermedia. A teacher can add or change the information in a knot. Thus the hypertext can be a dynamic base of the knowledge which continues to grow. Knots serve as entry points in the introduced information. They are linked with the help of the Internet [2].

Thanks to the educational program it is possible not only to supplement the theoretical course of a material exposition (using a sound, tele and video materials, a text), the practical course of programming education (using a microphone and earphones while recording and listening to speech or using multi-media objects created in Macromedia Flash, but also to control knowledge on a theme or course (utilizing JavaScript) [4].

Before beginning the brief description of operation stages (steps) to create the concrete training and controlling program, it is necessary to state the basic moments of preparing the scenario of WWW-system. You can illustrate a succession of executed operations with the scheme given in the following figure:

The multi-media educational program consists of the head module in which a still background is shaped and a succession of changes is modeled by hooking up the following objects: text, illustrations, moments of sound broadcasting and video material. The scene of events on the shield of a monitor can happen by manual control of the mouse through active zones chosen in the still. The head module allows if it is necessary to return to any preceding state. The newest appendices like Microsoft Office have built-in HTML support.

To create APM you may take advantage of standard applied provision by ХР Windows:

·        Microsoft Word 2010 for creating texts and preserving them in the same window in RTF format;

·        Explorer 6 for scanning HTML-document (web page);

·        ABBYY Fine Reader 7.0 Professional Edition for scanning and editing texts in TIF format;

·        The master of operation with a scanner and digital chamber allows to record the image from the scanner and digital chamber;

·        Sound Recorder represents an elementary sound editor and allows to record a sound in the input or loads some sound files in wav format;

·        Adobe Photoshop CS allows to create and to edit picture-files in jpg and gif format;

·        Imager allows to create and edit illustration buttons referring to sound or video files. And if the file is not in a current directory it is necessary to indicate the complete address of the file;

·        Media Player allows to reproduce a sound, video clips, music on CD-ROM disk for files with expansion MOV, AVI and MPG;

·        Front Page is the editor of creation Web pages.

ХР Windows contains a number of utilities for audio and video-output and for output management. For example, having a sound map you can record sounds with the help of Sound Recorder utility, and due to CLE protocol you can hook up audio information to documents. Sometimes it is necessary to give some interactivity to Web-page (to make it interactive. For example, you can switch over a browser to another page automatically without pressing the hyper-reference. Io, realize such effect the meta-tag of the following format is used: < meta http-equip = "REFRESH" content = N; URL=resource">. This tag forces the browser to load another resource indicated in the tag in indicated number N seconds. Let's make use of the hyper-reference for inserting the buttons in the necessary place of the text by calling a sound, video, pictures or an additional text (for example, a test), i.e. you can mount PC from different stills: a text, video, pictures and a sound), our APM.

The created educational package foresees also the possibility to check the quality of mastering the learnt material and if it is necessary to revise it. If a word in the sentence is distinguished with a thick print it can be made active. Having written down your lecture with the help of a microphone you can demonstrate it. And it is possible to use it outside your classes, for example, at home during your independent work etc. After studying each lesson you can listen to a dialogue. Each lesson contains the description of a situation, a dialogue on this theme, its practical application and text assignments. It is possible to listen to separate lectures as well as the whole structure of the theme itself and print it on the printer. It is necessary to mark that such program can be transferred to any computer and distributed without any limitations (i.e. it works remotely). For the given method of APM creation it is enough to have standard applied ensuring (provision) by XP Windows and Office 2010, CD-ROM, web, modem, a microphone and pillars [4].

The application of modern educational information technologies essentially completes traditional sights on teaching methods in high school, makes studying disciplines more interesting, substantial (rich in content) and entertainment. It is very important for successful teaching. And it also releases a teacher from his routine work.
