Career guidance problem at the present stage

 

Summary

In article questions of relevance of career guidance at the present stage are considered. In particular, definition of vocational guidance is given and the active role of the teacher in carrying out career guidance is emphasized.

I. Introduction. Entry of Kazakhstan into the International education system and ratification of the European convention in this area makes higher demands to the organization of process of training of youth, creation of such conditions which would provide qualitative level of preparation of pupils and students to further activity.

The increased requirements of modern production to level of professional readiness of shots in even bigger degree staticize problems of vocational guidance of youth as professional intentions of considerable part of pupils still don't correspond to requirements of society.

Reform of comprehensive and vocational school sets new tasks in respect of preparation of pupils for choice of profession. However training and education process at school sufficiently isn't reconstructed taking into account preparation of pupils for conscious choice of profession. School, teachers have no decisive impact on choice of profession, often it passes casually, and value of random factors is more essential, than a role of the teacher.

Realization of new tasks in the field of the higher education is impossible without essential changes in system of school education which has to be aimed at formation of the competent personality.

In the law RK "About Education" [1] it is noted that achievement of these positions requires creation of conditions for formation and development of the personality on the basis of scientific and public values. And it, in turn, is provided with preparation of highly specialized pedagogical shots.

Known recognition on professional and pedagogical activity was gained by researches of the following Kazakhstan scientists of M.A.Kudaykulov [2], G.K.Nurgaliyev [3], A.P.Seytesheva [4], G.A.Umanova [5], N.D.Khmel [6] etc.

II. Problem definition. The question of search, choice of profession is one of central, and in this sense fatal as sets "tone" to all further professional way. The solution of this task is provided in many respects by the vocational guidance of pupils directed on implementation of the social order of society. The system of career guidance is urged to help youth to choose a course of life to adapt for a profession to create the professional orientation providing professional success and as a whole to have impact on rational distribution of a manpower.

III. Results. Vocational guidance is the specially organized system of educational and educational work setting as the purpose formation of a professional orientation of pupils, their abilities consciously to choose a profession taking into account public requirements and rendering to them the help in self-determination at a choice.

Career guidance is independent area of knowledge, but is formed on a joint of pedagogics, psychology, sociology, economy, philosophy, medicine, the right. Implementation of system approach to management of career guidance allows to consider its interdisciplinary aspects, opens possibility of the systematic organized and ordered partition and a solution. On the basis of this approach the purposes of career guidance, a task, function, structure, the content of this process, kinds of activity are determined by formation at school students of professional self-determination.

IV. Conclusions. Vocational guidance is the directed activities for assistance to younger generation in choice of profession. It is set of forms, methods and receptions of impact on pupils for the purpose of identification and formation of their professional interests and abilities and influence on a choice them future profession.
