Electronic presentation: the purpose and role of the use

For the first time the term «multimedia» was built in 1965 and was actively used until the late 1970s to describe extravagant for that time and theatrical shows, using different types and forms of information presentation slides, films, video, audio fragments, light effects and live music. In late 70's and early 80-ies under the multimedia understood views based on static or dynamic images from multiple projectors, accompanied by a sound and live music.

Means of multimedia affect several organs of the human senses and represent the information in different forms: visual, auditory verbal and that creates a deeper emotional impact. The opportunity of influence on the emotional sphere of the human psyche is an important factor in teaching, as it promotes more efficient absorption of knowledge.

E (educational) presentation - is a coherent sequence of slides, a combined one subject, and the general principles of design. A multimedia presentation is a combination of computer animation, graphics, video, music and audio series, which are organized into a single environment.

Electronic presentations, as opposed to e-books, are, as a rule, to solve local educational problems. For example, the use of electronic presentations can significantly improve information and the effectiveness of the lesson by explaining the training material, helps to increase the dynamism and expressiveness of the material presented. It is obvious that the performance of learning is significantly improved when both are involved visual and auditory perception channels. The results show that the effectiveness of auditory information is 15% visual - 25%, and their simultaneous inclusion in the learning process improves the perception of up to 65%. Moreover, the availability of lecture notes in the form of thematic visual presentation enables the organization of independent work of students with this kind of resources.

Currently, all the more prevalent term "visual thinking", which is defined as a human activity, the product of which is the generation of new images, the creation of new visual forms that carry some meaning and value of making visible. Interest in pedagogy to the formation of visual thinking in the educational activity is increasing due to the rapidly expanding and increasingly affordable schoolteacher technical capabilities of the computer.

That is why the creation and use of electronic presentations in the learning process today is very important, as well as the development of common methodological principles for them.

Writing a presentation to the lesson is always a big, laborious, but very useful work. Useful because it allows you to re-classify the training material, to reveal "bottlenecks" in the methodological sense of space. All the material selected and prepared by the author, is clearly displayed on the screen in a concentrated, compressed, and all the flaws appear quite prominently. As a result, a teacher working with a multimedia presentation technology, continuously improving their methodological skills, namely, it is one of the main conditions for improving the quality of students.

Designing lesson using new information technologies requires compliance with the principles of teaching and scientific-methodological principles set out in the traditional didactics, and are filled with new content when using information technology. The selection of material for the presentation must conform to the principles of science, accessibility, visibility.

However, to the presentation of reaching educational purposes, in addition to traditional methodological requirements, development and use of the presentation in the learning process must comply with a number of specific (although specific to the electronic product) rules of its construction and design. The experience is quite widespread use of electronic presentations in the modern educational process shows that it is not always performed, even the most important ones.
