SOFTWARE PRACTICE LAW

Modern computer technologies are being actively implemented in the legal profession, and their use has become an indispensable condition for the functioning of this sphere of human activity.

There are great opportunities significantly improve the efficiency of a lawyer with a computer. It is obvious that all lawyers the same software will not work - very different challenges facing them. Thus, the goal set by us - analysis programs for lawyers - can not be implemented without considering the peculiarities of different groups of lawyers.

A cursory glance at the existing software for lawyers can create a list of categories of programs:

1. Legal database (reference legal systems, legal information systems, information and communications systems, and other names). This base as regulations (regulatory, legal acts), and judicial decisions, consultations of various specialists, articles of legal and business publications, etc.

2. Legal dictionaries.

3. Program-contracts collections searchable (select contract), printing, saving to a file for further editing in a text editor.

4. 9. Expert legal system.

All of these programs in the first approximation can be attributed only to two or three major groups:

1) Automation technology as a lawyer (accounting and reporting);

2) legal-reference information;

3) automation directly legal work (expert systems and legal drafting of contracts).

In addition, should specify that certain categories of lawyers need to narrowly specialized software, which, in turn, does not fit another lawyer. Kind of work, for example, the registrar of rights to immovable property and transactions with it. In its work, the receptionists use automated system that completely automates all that today must be automated using a computer in the registrar.

As is the case with judges and lawyers with most other professions. That can automate the work of judges? First of all the technical work on accounting matters. Besides the technical work is theoretically possible to automate the entire process of the case, the judgment or sentence, his compilation, analysis received petitions and complaints, etc. It is the prerogative of expert legal systems or, more generally, artificial intelligence systems.

First of all you need to automate the legal part of the work of a lawyer. Program is a collection of instruments designed by the vendor intended not only for lawyers. Any competent lawyer will confirm that it is impossible to draw up a contract , not knowing purpose of the contract , nor the circumstances of his detention and the like, and the program with a set of conditions offer limited by the fact set that is, for all occasions ( it is limited, as we will assume that any program - unless otherwise stated - there is a finished product , the authors proposed to real use in their work.

Example of a successful implementation of the "Treaty Series" with wide choice functions and conditions of the contract filling of contract, workstation is a notary "Express", the more that the program has many advanced features to automate it notaries.
