The pedagogical competence of the teacher
as a means of spiritual – moral development of personality of pupils
The main aim of upbringing is the formation of personality, its
comprehensive and harmonious development. The upbringing is conditioned by
character and organization life of the society on all stages of society –
historical development. Therefore on new conditions, on conditions of
social-economic and psychological changes in society is the most actual problem
is the spiritual-moral development of personality of the future generations.
This problem is found its reflection on the laws and in normative documents of
education and upbringing. For example, in the Conception of secondary and
higher education of the Republic of Kazakhstan the ultimate aim of continuing
education is formed on personality world-view, creative activity and
competence. The aim of formation of world-view in democratic society suppose
the free, conscious and well – grounded manufacture persuasion by personality
with support for achievement of universal culture in wide meaning of word. The
formation of creative active of personality supposes the developing of its
ability, aspiration for self-perfection, for developing spiritual force. The
competence of personality is not only deeply knowledge; it is an ability to
understand the social reality, to estimate it adequately and to use the
knowledge and ability for determination the problem, including the professional
and universal culture competence himself.
The contents of these aims, which appointed in document above, orientate
us to problems spiritual-moral development, because it, appearing the system of
generated factors of upbringing in whole and should play decisive role in
formation harmonious, social active, professional-cultural competence person.
The important direction of modern school is humanization of education.
It promotes the decision of an object – purposeful development of main figure
of school – personality of pupil. Therefore in the fast-changing world we must
move from the model “education for all life” to model “education on all life”.
Well, the extraordinarily fast update scientific information makes meaningless
acquisition of knowledge “for all life”. Nowadays, the teacher is demand; it is
oriented to personality of pupil, stimulating him to searching of truth, good,
and beauty. Therefore the modern pedagogics, inside which the main role takes
different forms of physiological influence of pedagogue to pupil, we can attribute
for interpersonal relationship.
The human - is the highest value, - it is a principle of humanism and
pedagogics and psychology. Hence, every teacher must keep the principles in his
daily occupation:
-
multiple-factor of upbringing – the family, school,
out-of-school institutions, the mass media, an art, literature, formal and
informal contacts. The teacher is the main coordinate of these upbringing
influence;

duration of the process of upbringing, which is
demand the patience and optimism, stress steadfastness and goodwill from
teacher;
-
taking into account the age and individual
peculiarity of pupils;
-
upbringing is double side process: the teacher
is bring up and teach developing and perfect himself at the same time;
-
national upbringing which theoretically
substantiated K. D. Ushinskii in present day democratization of society, is
gain unusual currency.
At present, in condition of renovation of upbringing is appeared many
authoring innovation program, new forms of work. For example, noticeably there was
progress the debaters, more often it announced about himself and scouts progress,
the competition of young leaders.
It is not secret, that modern society is developing in process of
formation of market relationship. It is becoming stronger competition in all spheres
of society life, growing the demand to moral and intellectual quality of human.
It is necessary to society the creative persons, which having the moral
principles, will be able to create in trust spheres of professional activity.
But it is possible in condition, if the school education will go to developing
of creative and spiritual – moral quality of person. Today, our schoolchild,
which will live and work in condition of society, must be possessed:

can set the aims and task for every stage of his
life;

to adapt in changing life situation;
-
to have effective methods of intellectual
activity, to do self education and can defend his view;
-
can think creatively, to know the place of using
of acquired knowledge;
-
to notice the problems in time, to search the
ways for rational decision;
-
to have high capacity for work, to be
communicative, can work in group, and individually;
-
systematic work for developing his moral
quality, cultural level.
For developing these abilities it is necessary to be collaboration
between the teacher and pupil, where the pupil as much as possible will be in
center of attention of the teachers and parents. The organization of democratic
relationship between the teachers and pupils it is the first condition of
collaboration. Secondly – the taking into account the problem, which will make
known in process of upbringing. Thirdly – the developing of ability of self
education, which is the main task of collaboration of the teacher and pupil and
the main task of school education. And the last is developing of self -
upbringing and self - perfection of pupils. Accordingly with them in primary
school the children must learn to analyze, to assess and to change his
behavior. In secondary school they can overcome the difficulties becoming
during the learning, really assess the level of his opportunities becoming in
different types of activities, and raise it by self-education. In high grade
pupils can plan his activity, to make plans for future.
So, personal – oriented approach of upbringing of pupils gives
opportunity of creative approach to any problem. For example, for solution of
humanitarian problem of personality created cultural basis not only for
learning school subjects, but first of all, understanding of spiritual-moral
experience of humanity. The different interesting organized upbringing events
will wake not only creative imagination of pupils, they build relaxedness. One
of the effect forms of work is a debate. The debate develops rich and culture
of speech, oratorical skill, teaches to argue, to argue his point of view, and
persist in dispute. And one of the interesting forms of work is an intellectual
game, which the main aim is improvement cognitive ability.
Modern developing school continually works in searching condition.
Upbringing work in school build proceeding from this, that the upbringing is
the direction of developing of personality. The humanistic character of
education supposes the reality of aims of bringing up in each lesson. Building
of upbringing environment on out of lesson time is the building of system of
out of lesson work, takes aim for spiritual-moral developing of each pupil.
So, the teacher-pedagogue with his daily work, integrating of
professional and personality quality can give the opportunity to the rising
generation to be the same as he will called-for in modern society.
