Modern
interactive learning and development of students
cognitive
activity
Under the conditions of transformation of the system
of education all scientists and teachers agree with the fact that the
activation and development of cognitive activity and formation of cognitive
interests of students is a prerequisite for successful learning. The whole process
of teaching can’t be considered as automated inserting of previously prepared information
and general facts in the student's heads. It requires not only intense mental
work, self-conscious but also conscious knowledge and understanding of objectively
real patterns of the process of the modern learning.
The development of psychological factors of
educational success and internal functional changes in the structure of
students' cognitive sphere depend on the effectiveness of realization and
implementation of their cognitive thinking and interests. It is important to excite
and encourage cognitive activity reflected in individual questions, answers,
statements, actions and goals. Having formed his own educational interests student
will study successfully and will be more interested in learning activities [3].
One of the main problems of students’ learning is the
fact that most of the course material is proposed as a certain amount of
knowledge without any specific analysis and, especially, its connection with
other subjects of the curriculum and the manufacturing sector. Teaching
subjects referred to the traditional model of education and referred to the
program of educational institutions working with innovative technologies has
fragmented nature and poorly motivate students to study material of the whole
education cycle. Hence, the general unattractiveness and incomprehension of
scientific knowledge, according to students, is unlikely to be useful or
applicable in future. This circumstances lead to the situation that at some
stage of educational process the cognitive motivation to solve problem and
reach goals disappears not because of finding a convincing solution or answer but
because of lack of basic knowledge [1].
The main task of each teacher is the activation of
cognitive activity of every single student at every lesson. Therefore,
pondering over the future lesson and its methodological goals teacher must
first solve the most fundamental problem how to organize the teacher-student transfer
of new material effectively. Maybe it must be a message or heuristic discussion,
seminar, discovery, reflection, problem solving, independent work and so on. Each
lesson must be converted into lesson of interaction, communication, thinking
where truth arises in a dispute or a dialogue about it [4].
It is quite possible to combine the traditional means
of presenting educational material with the interactive teaching methods
rationally. After all, explanation and demonstration alone will never give real
and sustainable knowledge. Online training is a special form of cognitive
activity which aims to create a comfortable learning environment in which every
student feels his success as well as intellectual ability. Such kind of
learning where student and teacher are equal, equivalent individuals of study,
understand what they are doing, reflects from the fact that they know and are
able to carry out. They allow you to create a comfortable psychological
learning environment in which every student feels his success and intellectual
ability. The basis of the interactive educational process is the cooperation
and productive dialogue aimed at developing students' creative abilities
through joint problem solving, ability to set and reach goals, planning
scientific activities, allocation of functions, skills of critical reasoning.
Interactive learning is a learning mode of teacher-student
dialogue in which the interaction between students is the main purpose of
understanding the joint solutions of educational problems, providing the development
of personal qualities of students through the mutual cooperation with each
other. This kind of study contributes not only to better memorization of
material to be learnt but its identification and application in everyday and
professional life. Implementation of interactive teaching methods contributes
to the development of student’s personal qualities such as fluent communication,
collaboration, ability to present their own point of view, compromise, debate,
etc. The essence and the background of interactive learning is the formation of
brand new approaches to the educational process and the implementation of
active group learning methods for solving teaching tasks to develop students'
creative abilities and professionally oriented skills closely to real
conditions.
