SPECIFICITY OF JOURNALISTIC LANGUAGE

Key words: journalist, dialogue, specific, information, situation.

Many researches point out topicality as the most important part of a work of  any journalist. However, topicality can be met not only in the work of journalist but in other articles as well. It is mistaken to keep this feature glued to anything specific. The sooner journalist is able to identify the connection between events in modern society, the deeper his understanding, the more accurate his article will be and the more interested the audience will be.

To find interesting topic for a journalist means to find bright, extraordinary, but real situation, that talks about the problem or its solution. It might be an issue that does not completely exist yet but there are signs of its appearance.

Another sign of journalistic product is his article to be built as a dialogue which does not mean that it has to be a pure interview. The style of the article has to look as an alive dialogue. There are should be questions at the beginning and facts after all.

Journalistic speech is a special type of data product. However it can be used in different types of genre and structure. The fact that this is a type of data product does not put it in certain framework.

Another important thing is the influence of journalistic speech. According to Proun, journalistic text holds a specific type of information - journalistic information. According to his research there are three types of reaction:

-involvement

-performance

-social warranty [1].

All those are specific features of journalistic text. There is another side- stylisticall features of the article.

The way person writes, talks says about his cultural and academical education. George Louis les Clerk de Buffon says: “Knowledge, facts can be changed; those things can not be controlled by man. Style is a man itself” [2].

In general journalistic language has qualities like simplicity. That means that it is necessary for a journalist to have those qualities.

There are already too many wrong images about language style.   Something that seemed wrong five or ten years ago is acceptable now.
