THE AUTOMATED SYSTEM OF ADJUSTMENT OF EQUIPMENT ERICSSON BLM-1500

 

The modern period of development of a society is characterized by transition from an industrial society to information. In the developed countries development of information technologies is a priority direction. Information technologies - set technical and software, working methods by means of which operations on processing the information in all spheres of human activity are carried out. Information technologies are based on hardware and the software. The effective tool of processing and transfer of the information are personal computer and global network Internet.

Now in the world 2 billion users Internet (1,966,514,816 person) while the total of the population makes almost 7 billion (6,845,609,960 person) is totaled nearby [1].

For construction of PON-systems the operator can use the equipment which is based two groups of standards. Systems GPON (Gigabit-capable Passive Optical Network) lean on Recommendations ITU-T of series G.984. The second group of decisions GEPON (Gigabit Ethernet Passive Optical Network) is under construction on standards IEEE 802.3ah. Technology GPON which is based standards ITU-T, provides the best use of throughput of an optical liaison channel and guarantees quality of given services (Quality Of Service, QoS), that is very important for transfer of a video information. As transport report GEPON is based on Ethernet the unpredictable length of packages can appear the essential factor reducing quality of granting of services, critical to delays [2].

Open Society “Rostelecom” is the Russian telecommunication company. Renders services of local and distant telecommunication, broadband access in Internet (the first place in Russia by quantity of subscribers), digital TV, cellular communication, etc. Services use more than 100 million inhabitants of Russia.

Since December 2009 in Kurgan area of Open Society “Rostelecom” began to give access in Internet on technology GPON.

Technology GPON provides access to resources of network Internet, and also to intranetwork services on high speed (up to 1 GBs a second). Quality and link speed of data noticeably (and it is favourable) differs from other technologies (both wire, and wireless).

System EDA1500 (Ericson Digital Access) represents in the market high-speed GPON a platform and the newest applications for networks of access, including the updated functions of security and IPTV. System EDA1500 consists from GPON OLT (Optical Line Terminal) (BML1500) and a set of the user devices - ONT (Optical Network Terminations) for small applications SFU (Single Family Units) and ONU (Optical Network Units) with greater port capacity MDU/MTU (Multi Dwelling/Tennant Units) (fig. 1).

System EDA1500 provides granting following services:

- Voice services on the basis of reports SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) and H.248;

- The high-speed Internet-access t-T Ethernet;

- Applications SDV (Switched Digital video), including IPTV and VoD - video by inquiry;

- Imposed video RF (Radio Frequency), mixed in PON a signal.

Employees of a site of maintenance service of a network of access of Open Society at adjustment of port GPON manually fill Rostelecom data:

- A code word (the unique identifier of the subscriber);

- Number of a payment;

- Number of port;

- Virtual number of port;

- BLM-1500 IP-address;

- Number VLAN;

- Number GEM of port;

- Number of adjusted phone.

Results of the researches have allowed to draw conclusions.

1. The automated system of adjustment of equipment Ericsson BLM-1500 is developed. Functions of the automated system:

- Formation of a configuration code;

- Activation of port;

- Adjustment of necessary services;

- Addition of necessary services;

- Removal of necessary services;

- Removal of all services and deactivation of port;

- Conducting a DB;

- Formation and storage of accounting documents;

- Formation of analytical data about quality;

- A unloading and storage of statistical data;

- Realization of flexible search.

2. The developed automated system of adjustment of the equipment allows to raise efficiency of granting of services to subscribers.
