Modern Kazakhstan

Today Kazakhstan is one of the fastest growing countries. Policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan is aimed at active interaction with other countries, taking into account trends in the development of the modern world, allowing our country to take its rightful place in the community while preserving their national and cultural identity.

Kazakhstan - an island of political stability, interethnic and interreligious harmony in the surrounding area of instability and conflict. Positive image of Kazakhstan is a direct result of the activities of public authorities that conducted the radical socio-economic and political reform

. One of the evidences of sustainable positive image of the country is unconditional investment attractiveness. The result of confidence in the country is the volume of foreign investments, which since independence exceeded 23 billion dollars since independence. If we talk about the need for any special measures to strengthen the positive image of Kazakhstan, it may be noted here that the lack of full and objective information about the Republic impedes recognition of the state. Public institutions and government agencies might play a role to strengthen the image. In addition to the economic aspect, the identification of Kazakhstan as a state with a multi-faceted and rich culture is very important.

As for the national idea which is capable to consolidate the people of Kazakhstan, it is based on its history and on the country's specific conditions. Its foundations were laid in a long-term strategy of development of Kazakhstan until 2030. It can be formulated as building of an independent, prosperous and politically stable state which is based on the basis of national unity, social justice, and economic well-being of the population.

Currently, the fundamental institutions of the political system are established in the Republic. The challenges that were set to the young state were met: the legal system was established and continues to improve, radical market reforms were carried out, the party building is processing, and non-governmental sector is dynamically developing. The success of economic reforms depends crucially on well-rounded and weighted policy in the country. However, international experience shows that, in the breaking of the old system of government, economic liberalization should go faster than the political. Further development will be determined by the degree of intensity of the liberalization of the socio - political sphere.

Future of Kazakhstan connected with democracy and open society. We can say with the confidence that there is a clear vision of the priorities in the political sphere. They are designed to consolidate and strengthen the democratic foundations of society. In the first, solving a number of problems related to decentralization of public administration. They aim to ensure that power has been more responsible to the people and it is close to the problems and concerns of the individual. Work is underway on creating the most optimal model of local government. This takes into account the experience of the most diverse countries in the world. In the second, one of the basic foundations of democracy - is the election authority. A new law "On elections" was passed. The electoral system of the country and the electoral mechanism were improved by the new law. In the third, one of the key tasks of the democratic development of Kazakhstan - is the formation and development of civil society.

Only in terms of independence, Kazakhstan began to develop multi-party system and pluralism. The goal that was set by the government is to strengthen the powers of party factions in parliament and local elected bodies. Strengthening the role of parties in the political system is a fundamental aspect of Kazakhstan's democracy and an important area of political reforms in the country, which are designed to develop the institutions of civil society. However, the level of democracy is not determined only by the number of existing political parties. It is important what would the party put the interests of the voters at the forefront that provided their trust, society as a whole. Kazakhstan's position is the all states are free to choose a particular model of economic development and international policy.

In Kazakhstan, there is a sufficiently large number of non-governmental organizations. In the future, support for non-governmental sector should gain a new dimension. There are plans for the elaboration and adoption of legal decisions on matters involving NGOs in the implementation of important social projects. Fourth, Kazakhstan has created the institutional and legal framework for the protection of rights and freedoms. Kazakhstan acceded to the two international instruments on human rights - the Covenant on Economic, Social, and Cultural Rights, the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights. In general, the democratic transformation is a vector of development of Kazakhstan. Sustainable economic development, the emerging middle class, and the development of institutions of civil society are the all evidences of the irreversibility of democratic reforms in the country.

Kazakhstan has experienced a very rapid economic and social growth. Since 1993, the country attracted huge foreign investment of $ 120 billion .Kazakhstan functions by skillful maneuvering in Central Asia as a bridge between the three great powers: the West, Russia and China. Kazakhstan gained access to the Euro-Atlantic and Eurasian structures, and it is open to Western ideas of the rule of law and the rights of citizens. Political stability, national consent are a basis of successful development of our country
