Rationale for metrological assurance and parameters of measuring equipment and quality control of welding work in assembling electric locomotives

Market relations, especially with foreign capital leads to the development of the domestic engineering industry, in particular in the organization of the enterprise, the organization of the enterprise on assembly of finished products of components received from abroad. An example of such cooperation is a factory for the production of freight and passenger electric locomotives of alternating current by the technology of French company Alstom Transport in Astana. However process of industrialization, as well as undoubtedly ensure product quality unthinkable without advanced development methods and measuring instruments. Usually given productions data acutely need to test equipment with the required and in some critical operations improved metrological characteristics. Therefore, metrological support of production is the integral part of all stages of product life cycles.

The concept of metrological support of production is a systematic approach to the selection of the working measuring instruments and means of process control for optimum solving measurement tasks.

The complete solution includes:

Øselection of the optimum measuring and control equipment;

Øimplementation of modern high-precision measuring instruments;

Ødevelopment of measurement techniques;

Ødevelopment and implementation of projects for industries and laboratories (if there are any) measuring instruments;

Øtraining of specialists in the field of metrology the most effective use of modern measuring equipment.

The main principle of the work in this area - providing a systematic approach to solving the problems of enterprises: from the examination of the design and technological documentation to the development of measurement techniques and the introduction of modern measuring instruments.

Control of welding works carried out in factories, has significant drawbacks: applied welding works quality control tools do not provide reliable results, measurements are made with the loss of accuracy is not a sufficient level determined in measuring and control works in terms of volume and in terms of accuracy. One reason for the above-mentioned drawbacks is the fact that the transfer of production technology, leading foreign companies, there is a technical barrier, as in methodical maintenance foreign measuring instruments, and the results of research questions of metrological support the assembly process to the base platform of domestic railway.

An example of such a technical barra, is the application of domestic enterprises - obsolete control equipment. One such example is set for the visual inspection of VIC-1. This kit for visual inspection VIC 1 - needs for visual and measuring control of base metal and welded joints in the stages of the input control, preparation for welding and assess their condition during the operation. It includes the following measuring instruments: calipers ShTs 125, universal welder pattern bs-2, universal welder pattern Cliper-3 line measuring metal 150 mm, set of probes ¹2, radii template ¹2, Squares testing 60x100. The main reason for using the above-mentioned domestic enterprises set of measuring instruments is a low cost components and a certificate of type approval of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Thus, the question remains: replacement of obsolete control equipment on modern analogues, topical use of measuring instruments with a specified accuracy, the possibility of excluding the human factor in the test and measurement operations. Below is shown patterns developed on the basis of the company Alstom Transport for visual inspection of welding (Figure 1) (Figure 2), may decide these questions. Since the application of the measurement of these funds reduces the time of measuring operations, significantly eliminated the human factor.

In this regard, clearly manifested the need for additional research in the development of measurement techniques for foreign, more advanced measuring instruments with a view to making the state register uniformity of measurements of the Republic of Kazakhstan and further mass use them in domestic enterprises.

This selection of the optimum measuring and control equipment should be carried out on the basis of the establishment of dependencies metrological characteristics and parameters of the means of measurement from indicators of quality welding and assembly works.

It is important on the development of metrology in the domestic engineering to create a unified registration database of a new and modern means of measurement, the last procedure of approval of measuring instruments and metrological verification. This in the early stages of pre-production design will ensure the selection of means of measurements with the required accuracy, thereby improving the quality of products at all stages of the life cycle.
