Religious views of Akhmet Baytursinuli

Heroism is a quality of country. Bravery is a quality of a man.

A.Baytursinuli was a master of artistic expression, great tutor, patriot who helped to convey the spiritual nature of the Kazakhs and was able to confront the difficulties of that time. A respected citizen of Alash group and contemporary of Akhmet Saken Seifullin held in reverence his humanity, clear conscience, and said: “When other educated gentlemen searched their ranks, ... Akhmet was one in imperial time, who extolled the honor of the Kazakh people and had been valued by the people… When other educated contemporaries were looking for their own benefit, sold soul to the devil, Akhmet searched the honor of people, and risked his life to achieve the purpose . Akhmet Baytursinuli was a nationalist who really loved his nation” [1]. And he added, that Akhmet had a great respect and was a leader among his contemporaries of the time.

A.Baytursinuli “Досыма хат”(Dosima hat)

- Қырағы қи жазбас, сұңқарым – ай! (Kyragy ki zhazbas, cunkarim-ai!)

Қажымас қашық жолға, тұлпарым-ай!(Kazhimas kashik zholga, tulparim-ai)

Үйілген өлексені өрге сүйреп, (Uilgen olkesine orge suirep)

Шығармас қыр басына іңкәрім-ай!(Shigarmas kir basina inkarim-ai!) In this his composition he shows that he must serve the people, and calls upon people to fight for independence. He was very proud and satisfied for their brave deeds. Many of the first educators learn to read and write at the national educated, wisest mullahs. Eastern poetries, literatures of that time were written in Arabic. Educated people, with these literatures, had got acquainted with philosophy of the people of Asia and the East

A.Baytursinuli in his compositions “Азаматқа” (Azamatka):

- Келіңіз, сөйлесейік би ағалар, (Keliniz, soileseik bi agalar)

Қайткенде бұл халықтың оңар жағын (Kaitkende bul haliktin onar zhagin)

Түгел бір өзіңе иа Алла (Tugel bir ozine ia Allah)

Аша гөр бұл халықтың сен бір бағын (Asha gor bul haliktin sen bir bagin)

Жігіттер, отырамыз қарап неғып (Zhigitter, tiramiz karap negip)

Халық тұр, Құдайдан соң саған сеніп [2].- said that the meaning of human life is to transform the society by advancing. This way the author calls to people to start changing the society together. A.Baytursinuli in creation “Азаматқа” (Azamatka) he thanked God for the fact that there were such people, such heroes; he also said thatpeople believed them. He wanted to inspire them. He urged men, for the sake of existence tomorrow, not to succumb to human weaknesses, and take care of it:

- Құдайым халық үшін Сізді берген (Kudaim halik ushin Sizdi bergen)

Үміті халықтың зор Сіздей ерден (Umiti haliktin zor Sizdei erden)

Әйтеуір, не қылсаң да өздерің біл (Aiteuir, ne kilsan da ozderin bil)

Халықтың жүрегі бар Сізге сенген (Haliktin zhuregi bar Sizge sengen) [3].

In these lines Akhmet Baytursinuli mentioned that our ancestors had left a historical trail of world civilization.

Ер қазақ халық едің қандай дана (Er Kazakh halik edin kandai dana)

Қайтала ... уақытқа не дүр шара (Kaitala … uakitka ne dur shara)

Сүйесе қиын емес көбелерің (Suiese kiin emes kobelerin)

Балаларың сен жағыңа болып пана (Balalarin sen zagina bolip pana)

Салмассың Инша Алла дым күйіңді (Salmassan Insha Allah dim kuindi)

Балалаларың танып келеді ақты қара (Balalarin tanip keledi akti kara) [4].

Further Akhmet Baitursynuli in creation «Борыштымын» (Borishtimin) asks God to lower the sun's rays on the people, to achieve the goal to give the will and determination, and his support to the nation:

- Көңілі бай жарық Құдай кең пейілді (konili bai zharik Kudai ken peildi)

Бір күнде өте шыққан тең .... (Bir kunde ote shikkan ten…)

Өзінен жарар еді ұйқысынан (Ozinen zharar edi uikisinan)

Ойымен ойы терең кең зейіндім. (Oiimen oii teren ken zeiindim) [5]

In these lines Akhmet Baitursynuli pleads Creator to give power to achieve the aim of their struggle, show a bright path to his nation.

Құдайдың тегіс еді рақметі (Kudaidin tegis edi rakhmeti)

Маған да бір бер дағы мырза Құдай (Magan da bir ber dagi mirza Kudai)

Ойың бар сенің Алла ауыл сайын (Oiin bar senin Allah auil saiin)

Кісінің айырмайтын жарлы бойын (Kisinin aiirmaitin zharli boiin)

Akhmet Baitursynuli led Kazakh people to the art and education, spreading their patriotic spirit, urging to humanity.

The youth should always remember and respect Akhmet Baitursynuli for his patriotic view and love of the nation.
