Foreign language teaching is considered as one of the priority directions of education modernization. Today, no one is to be convinced that early foreign language learning not only promotes a more robust and free practical knowledge of it, but also carries a great intellectual and moral potential. There is a saying: "How many languages you know, so many times you are a man." According to the concept of the transition to twelve years school training "Foreign language" subject is included in the number of  primary education cycle disciplines.

Methodically competent teacher, who owns advanced technologies of foreign language teaching, knowing the psychological and pedagogical characteristics of younger students must decide the aims and objectives of education. Starting communication with children it is very important for the process of preschool children upbringing and development to be in line with modern techniques. The main functions of a foreign language as a subject are to develop a common voice capacity of a child to his most basic philological education, in shaping the ability and willingness to use a foreign language as a means of communication, as a way of familiarizing with other cultures. All of these functions of the subject are realized from the first steps of learning. Learning a foreign language at an early age is useful for all children, regardless of their initial ability, as it provides:

1. undeniable positive impact on the mental functions of the child, his memory, attention, thinking, perception, and imagination;

2. stimulating effect on the overall ability of the child speech;

Early learning of a foreign language gives a great practical effect in terms of improving the quality of foreign language at primary school. Early learning of a foreign language is also important because the success in learning the subject at subsequent stages depends on education at the initial stage. An English methodist G. Palmer attached great importance to the beginning of a foreign language learning. It is known that younger age is the most favorable for learning a foreign language. Taking into consideration the sensitive period for the child to accept and reproduce the speech one can develop and maintain the flexibility of the vocal apparatus at an early age for the creation and improvement of the human speech ability throughout his life.

Activities for children in kindergarten should be conducted in a playful way that promotes the formation of their abilities and creates a favorable psychological climate. While playing, children can easily learn complex concepts, and learning a foreign language is transformed into a bright exciting experience. During this period the students lay the foundation of language and speech abilities needed for further study of a foreign language as a means of intercultural communication, which is the primary purpose of teaching FL at school. Education in kindergarten is the first step to accomplish the main goal of the subject "Foreign Language" at school, the bases of communicative competence are laid here.

What then is the role of a foreign language teacher?

He should facilitate earlier familiarizing children to a new space for them at that age, when children are not experiencing psychological barriers in the use of language as a means of communication, form children's willingness to communicate in a foreign language and a positive outlook for further study. I think that interest in the English language among children is increasing for the last years. In my view, there are a number of reasons for teaching English in kindergarten:

- it is the most favorable period for language development (up to 8 years old) and it should be used to create a solid basis for further linguistic background;

        - the early education of children allows a maximum training time for learning English as a foreign language - the earlier we start, the more time we have to study it;

-   from an early age, getting acquainted with the culture of the target language, we educate children in tolerance, a sense of belonging to others;

-   the study of a foreign language at an early age, along with practical relevance, develops children's ability to better comprehend their mother tongue;

-         language learning improves children's memory, their thinking, perception, imagination, etc.

Teacher’s experience shows that speech pattern which the child imitates, imitating adults uttered phrase in a foreign language operates at this age. This special ability to remember words is manifested not in any circumstances but only in a specifically designed conditions for language learning. And if the first foreign words are remembered only because they are new, for the following words to remember it is necessary to think and find a special mechanism for their storage. Early learning of a foreign language contributes to sterling development of the child personality. Obviously, in today's world it is not a fashion but vital.
