The objective function and totality of basic functions of the adaptive module peripheral system ensuring environmental safety

 

The objective function of the peripheral system module ensuring environmental safety (PSEES) is interpreted as forming of compressed data on status and behavior of complicated dynamic object (CDO) and purposeful process (PP). This information is delivered to the upper-level subsystem PSEES for secondary and tertiary processing. The objective function of the adaptive module as element of primary information network PSEES can be defined as part of the objective function group PSEES distributed type [1].

Information field on the basis of peripheral subsystem of PSEES from these positions is defined as configured in the form of measuring - control geographically distributed network modules of receipt, collection and pre-processing of the primary information from CDO and PP. Necessary set of basic and service functions (functional organization) of typical module as an element of this network is caused by the following:

- controlled by CDO and PP functions have geographically dispersion. Network of sensors and local delivery channels of initial information through the commutation to the elements of measuring - control network are also of geographically distributed character;

- large amount of initial information received from hundreds and thousands of sensors often has diverse and multidimensional character;

- presence of a priori uncertainty concerning characteristics of the  stream input impact,  multidimensionality of its parametric description and description of background interference;

- high dynamics of the controlled objects and PP;

- because of the large volumes of primary data, requirements  to  performance of upper level of subsystems PSEES sharply increases. The same way because of high dynamics of controlled  PP there is a risk of delay reaction to the development of of regular and non regular.

According to the stated conditions the set of the main functions of the module as nodal element of a peripheral subsystem of PSEES can be provided as:

- the function realizing commutation of primary information channels from sensors taking into account characteristics of a stream of input impacts;

- the function which is responsible for measurement of the current parameter values of the signals  arriving on a module input with interferences  taking into account dynamics of characteristics of stream and according to complex model of formation of primary information in volume of set of the sensors, territorially and functionally bound to this module;

- functions of formation of an array of ordinal statistics;

- functions of compression of the received measuring information in the form of arrays of ordinal statistics by estimation and obtaining set of sufficient statistics for a set  of parameters, use of this statistics for internal and external operations.

At high intensity of stream of input impacts  on the basis of posteriori information, the additional (service) functions realizing locally the part of secondary processing of measuring and semantic information, namely [1] can be reported to the module:

- operational recognition, identification of a local situation on the subobject (or stage PP) controlled by the '' independent module according to nature of the information delivered by this information channel of primary network;

- tracking development of the current situation which is especially identified as  non regular to transfer the intermediate data to a subsystem of the top level of PSEES;

- to adapt for characteristics of an input signal stream and noises, to change algorithm of switching of signals and managing function with the purpose to select further the most valuable information in the given  situation, to create a local solution and the controlling influence for controlled object or PP.

In this case implementation of transmission channel of a peripheral subsystem to a subsystem ("kernel") of the top level is executed on duplex type [2]: address feedback from PSEES kernel to the module (its software and hardware tools) on purpose is in also realized:

- to specify and if necessary to change the main and additional algorithms of functioning of the '' of the module of primary network;

- to change and add a matrix of local situations for the '' module;

- to change the functional capabilities of the module (to change the functional organization) in case of change of a technique of preprocessing and character of  local control;

- to add the database and the knowledge base used for acceptance of local solutions of  by the  '' module;

- to reconfigure a module software package in case of change of  PP produced by controlled object.
