The problems of tolerance and inter-ethnic relations of modern university students

The problem of tolerance has become currently in one of the essential problems of the world of humanitarian thought. This is due to the decline of morality, violation of human rights, universal, confessional and ethnic conflicts. A culture of peace, tolerance, which we are currently trying to instill in society, there is acceptance of another culture, tolerance to him, his way of thinking and behavior.

The most important question of the modern Russian state is a national issue. Vladimir Putin in his article from 23.01.2012, the "Russia - the national question" was presented by one of the ways to reconcile the national interests by raising the educational level of society: "Civil task of education, the education system - to give each one is absolutely mandatory volume of human knowledge, which It is the basis of self-identity of the people. First and foremost, we should talk about raising the educational process in the role of such subjects as the Russian language, Russian literature, Russian history - of course, in the context of all the wealth of national traditions and cultures. "

A huge role in shaping the culture of international relations - owned Education. Before higher education raises complex issues related to the formation of culture of international relations students in a multicultural educational environment. Among them - the personal development through the enrichment of the consciousness of the individual national values of different cultures, ethnopedagogical educating young people to expand and deepen its ethnic and cultural performances; formation outlook, intelligence international relations involving intercultural harmony students. And most importantly, the formation of a tolerant attitude of students in a multicultural educational environment, to ensure conflict-free, harmonious interaction of different cultures.

The current situation tolerant attitude of students to each other is aggravated by the low culture of international relations students prevents constructive intercultural dialogue and thus acutely affect the expression of tolerance in international relations to each other. Proceeding from this situation are the reasons for this: the presence of destructive international interaction - intolerance of the opinions of others, selfishness, enmity inside, ambition, categorical judgments, inability to compromise, lack of common sense, the presence of national prejudices, misunderstandings of the real processes taking place in society, world. The lack of understanding of the students' culture and cultural differences of perception mentality.

The problem of multicultural education is seen in the works of VP Borisenkova, BL Wolfson, OV Gukalenko, AJ Danyluk, G. J. Dautova, GD Dmitriev AN Dzhurinskiy, N. D. Nikandrova, L. et al Suprunova. Russian universities are different multicultural educational space: they are dominated by a mixed ethnic composition. The largest ethnic center of Siberia and the Far East is the National Research Irkutsk State Technical University, founded in 1930. In the 2011-2012 academic year, 35,000 students enrolled, the number of foreign students reached 700 people, representing 14 countries and abroad, as well as the predominant amount of foreign students are from 10 countries of the CIS.

In Irkutsk have consistently and efficiently develop volunteer activities of students, with the support of the Center for cultural - mass and educational work IrGTU NO, NO Center technologies will IrGTU, Center for Support and Development of volunteerism "do good." Initiative groups and volunteer groups of the university participate in the decision of social - significant problems of the university, the city of Irkutsk and Irkutsk region, as well as held a presentation of the achievements of modern technology and volunteerism, social partnership to support volunteer initiatives IrGTU NO. Despite the diversity of religious and cultural elements, features of language and traditions, for the harmonious development of international cooperation of students in a multicultural educational space, our university is very closely following the development of a culture of international relations students in the training.

In 2012, at the university as part of the Student Spring, the first time a competition review of voluntary initiatives in Irkutsk have "done good." The contest was held in order to identify and provide opportunities for students to get acquainted with the technology of voluntary initiatives undertaken by students of the university. Thus enabling the creation of conditions for the exchange of experiences and the development of contacts between the parties jumping, ensuring broad awareness of potential participants review of voluntary initiatives of the university, attracting students to promote voluntary initiatives and solving social problems in the region, demonstrating the participation of NO IrGTU in socio - economic, socio - political and social development of the region, summarizing the experience of volunteer initiatives with a view to its use in Irkutsk Technical University. Areas of implementation of voluntary initiatives are unlimited. Since our university, it is a multinational university, focusing on initiatives such as voluntary activity in the field of prevention of socially - negative phenomena and International Relations students in a multicultural educational space of the university, whose main task is to build adequate skills in students a culture of understanding and perception of culture differences in mentality. The solution to this problem involves the formation of value orientations, citizenship, patriotism, tolerance, self-esteem, ability to understand others and oneself.

Multicultural education space in shaping the culture of international relations students today kulturotvorcheskoj national civilization meets the globally-political challenges of the time and has as its strategic objective of decent entrance reared personality multinational Russia and the world community. Multicultural educational space of the university serves the formation of tolerance of the person, as a condition for preserving the diversity of cultures, ethnicities, religions, historical right to difference, dissimilarity, the iconic ethnic groups and peoples.

From the above written the conclusion that the formation of the culture of international relations students in a multicultural educational environment of the university only in the creative interaction of parity in the dialogue of cultures is born understanding of the commonality of human nature, common values and aims, is born an idea of humanity as a single and unique phenomenon.

In order to realize the focus of self-determination, social identity of students is necessary to form his citizenship, awareness of belonging to the fatherland and tolerant attitude towards other cultures, other nationalities groups of Russian society and the world.
