The
development of innovative thinking by methods of project activity at the stage
of university preparation
The problem of the target gap of
innovative competencies formation among students at the course of professional
training in Universities and the prevailing forms of assessing the quality of
training is indicated in the article. Dedicated trends allowed to justify the
necessary components of the project activity, as a factor of development of
innovative thinking of future specialists. Proposed solutions of this important
task enrichment of professional skills will contribute to the disclosure of
labor potential of youth and increase of the investment attractiveness of the
region.
Keywords: innovative thinking,
project activities, training of professionals in the university, labor
potential, investment attractiveness of the region
Modern
Russian economy needs highly qualified professionals who will be capable to
carry out a technological breakthrough. The most important task of the
educational environment today is to prepare for activity in business in the
course of professional training in Universities, as it is pointed by G.V.
Zaitseva [2,5].
The
quality of the region's labor potential is given by the graduates skill level .
The way from the idea creation to commercialization can be shortened by
attracting of investors. An important
factor of the investment attractiveness of the region is the high rate of labor
potential. Under the labor potential it is commonly understood a highly
qualified staff, combined with innovative thinking. Fasenko T.E. points out
that investment in labor potential gives economic effect of 1: 8, sometimes
1:10 [1, 128].
All
of these components require higher education institutions meet the challenges
of the time and actively contribute to labor potential in the regional labor
markets.
In
real practice educational institutions carry out their tasks within the
framework of the existing requirements of state educational standards in areas
of training and performance criteria according to the accreditation of
universities indexes. Trapping by difficult financial conditions forces higher
education institutions to reduce the contact forms of the educational process
and seek to achieve the highest rates in the control of residual knowledge by
the method of on-line survey. This form often reflects the level of readiness
in the field of theoretical training. Method of test control has criteria of
produceability and objectivity. However, it has its limitations. In particular,
the much-needed innovative thinking skills can not be detected through the test
method. Seems important to refocus the strategic goals of university studies
with theoretical and applied to innovation and software training.
Solving
skills of non-trivial task in a market form of management can be developed
within the framework of practical training. Experience in the design of forms
allows us to offer productive models of professional activities 'simulation' .
The
following basic principles of the organization of educational classes defined
in the methods used by the author: focus
on strategic social indicators, mastering the skills of analysis of the
socio-economic efficiency, the use of program-oriented approach, focusing on
regional characteristics.
Organization
of practical training involves the use of predefined packages for the teacher
with tasks for groups (study group is spontaneously divided into several
sub-groups of up to 8 members). Social problems that are necessary to be solved
are formulated in the task. For example: "Prevention of extremism among
young people", "Support of social orphans", "Business
social responsibility development ", "Flash mob to support the social
object." The package proposes the plan and criteria for the evaluation of
the social project. A must for all is the formation of a strategic, medium-term
and operational plan of the proposed social problems solutions. Work of the
groups takes place in the form of brainstorming. Moderator (can be a teacher)
indicates the basic principles of this methods: a ban on criticism, the ideas
can be only developed, on the stage of proposals-making all thoughts should be
recorded; on the stage of ideas analysis their usefulness and relevance should
be clarified.
While
working on the projects the groups are required to choose the participant who
is fixing ideas and suggestions in writing. Then a group member representing
the project is determined. An important step is to assess the social and
economic efficiency. It clarifies the mechanism of commercialization of the
project. The final stage is peer assessment of groups working. This technique
develops critical thinking and objectivity.
At
the first stage the teacher reminds the importance of innovative thinking
skills development and encourages students to consolidate the theoretical
knowledge about the forms of creativity - the enrichment of the experience,
agglutination (bonding the portions of different objects or events) and a
completely new generation creation. As well as on the principles of innovation
- the introduction and commercialization of a new idea or project.
It
is important to gain the attention of students to work in the business - a
systematic analysis of the competitive environment, continuous professional
development, advancing the rate of renovation produced complex services.
Thus,
in the course of trainings students receive new information about regional
characteristics (recent statistics and economic indicators, pre-prepared and contained
in the packets with the task), as well as gaining of experience in the
development and commercialization of projects for solving the concret social
problems, in relation to the future professional sector (preparation
direction).
Experience shows
that the design form of training sessions stimulates creative thinking,
promotes the ability to work in a team, train presentation skills, introduces the culture of social analysis and
generates practical skills in solving problems of social and economic sphere in
the conditions of the region.
