The role of the language and lingvo-phycological aspects

in business etiquette.

Attention to business etiquette is growing more and more every day. This is largely due to the psychological problems of relations between the employees, negatively affecting the successful operations of the company. In addition, recognized forms of communication help to eliminate the conflicts that arise in government circles and at the international level. Common etiquette allows you to regulate the communication between different segments of the population, and business etiquette sets the rules in the corporate world, business, investing and international level.

Modern rules of business etiquette evolved a long time. Their formation has taken more than a century. Many generations gave their contribution in the formation of these requirements. The most rational rules that are time-tested come to the 21 century. They constitute the fundamental base and are almost universal, although in each country there are its own peculiarities. The rules of business etiquette are at the basis of the norms of behavior at diplomatic meetings, in the workplace, in transport and other places where communication between people.

Etiquette involves certain rules of conduct and norms of relationships between people that take place in social communities. Therefore, under business etiquette we understand a certain order of human behavior in the business world and business in general. The distinction between business and traditional etiquette is that the main role is played by the status and position, rather than the usual age, and gender.

Business behavior is a collection of individual behavior, which is associated with the expression of business interests. It manifests itself in interaction with colleagues and partners by networking, contributing to the manifestation of professionalism and success.

A person, who knows business etiquette, will always stand out in business and have, so to speak, an extra trump. Because he understands that the role of the first impression is very important, because a second chance may not be and this allows you to avoid any mishaps. Different countries have their national peculiarities of business etiquette. In Germany people are sensitive to any little thing. In Japan, the greeting always starts with a bow, but direct contact is not welcome. The Swedes are famous for Lutheran ethics. "Stiff upper lip" figuratively speaking, the term is usually used to describe British qualities - restraint and self-control which manifest in difficult situations. Despite their traditions and mentality, business etiquette still has a number of features that are typical for all. For example, there are established rules, universal rules and principles.

The knowledge of the key rules of business etiquette is very important. We  will list some of them, accompanying each rule with  a brief description.

Managing your time and respect the time, belonging to other people. Business etiquette involves understanding the basics of time management. Skillful possession of personal time and clear planning of the day play an important role for the business person. He should be able to sort the issues by priority and urgency, to complete the planned work, must show not only punctuality, but also to respect other people's time.

Business and neat appearance. A business person should have an appropriate appearance. His clothes, hairstyle, accessories play a very important role in forming first impressions. Appearance can say not only about the status and position of the person, but also about his character.

The order in the workplace. It can say a lot about the owner. If it is all laid out in its place, neat and tidy nothing is unnessary, it means, that a businessman follows the order. We can assume that such a person has and the appropriate way of thinking, i.e. the order in his head. The workplace is a mirror of the inner world of its owner.

Competent speech. Correct speech is well articulated speech. It does not matter, whether it is a personal interview, a speech, a telephone conversation or correspondence. Businessman, who is a good orator, has significant advantages over others. Some people get this gift from nature, while others just need to learn to do mastering a lot of effort and patience. The knowledge of one or several foreign languages can also be an important advantage.

Attitude toward others. Ideal portrait of a business man is a man who shows no personal selfishness, is always ready to listen to the interlocutor and to help, respects opinion of the interlocutor and simply good to people. A significant proportion of personal success is communication with other people. The attention and respect greatly simplify the communication process.

The full impact to your work. A business man should not only create an important image, but be also responsible and conscious of his activity and constantly paying attention to improving personal effectiveness and improving production performance.

Observance of commercial confidentiality. Secrets of company must remain confidential. The sign of a good company is a loyal and dedicated team. Control of trade secrets can be provided in cases where employees work in good conditions or receive a salary and sometimes a bonus for your work.

Thus, the rules that are listed above are the fundamental basis of business etiquette. They establish a reference model of behavior in business. Undoubtedly, the list could go on and be describe in more detail and be longer.

Questions of business etiquette are important for the Manager of the company, primarily because the professional is not only the one who owns the intricacies of any profession, but the peculiarities of business communication.
