Patriotic education of a future specialist in the course of professional training

 

A lot of modern scientists, psychologists notice that patriotic education of a person leaves much to be desired. The problem is often reflected, first of all, in communicative culture of a person, in everyday dialogues between people and in interaction of people with different interests. We must say that modern cultural term of the given concept patriotism has greatly changed now due to a high influence of commercial processes in the modern world, and its influences on all areas of social life of a person.

Many researchers have also noticed that material needs and interests of a modern person have so strongly reflected in people’s consciousness, and their cultural, moral and patriotic aspects of patriotism as a modern concept have been replaced by material interests, needs, that intercultural dialogues began to remind relations of people to a material world of things, where there is no place for patriotic feelings, everyone is indifferent to the interests of our country, to the interests and needs of other people.

It would be desirable to notice that the process of formation of general and professional culture of a future specialist, its patriotic education can be carried out only in a pedagogical context of uniform formation of cultural educational surrounding which cannot be solved with the help of the only pedagogical subject, therefore we may refer to people’s abilities to communicative practice [1].

A new thing in patriotic education is that we try to find out the way out of the problem in modeling a pedagogical process where young people are to compose different situations where they can realize their inborn abilities to express their dignity and patriotism. We must create intercultural educational environmental situations which are useful for using personal functions of person’s consciousness at the lessons of learning foreign languages at the institutes.

In the middle of the current century a lot of scientists, researchers in many countries of the world began to say even more often about close connection between the problem of formation of patriotism and vocational training of a specialist, paying attention to communicative skills [2].

So we may notice that the rapid rates of development of science and manufacture are higher than the level of professional knowledge of specialists, so we may think that qualification of specialists and the problem of patriotic education are closely connected.

So we think that the conceptual basis of patriotic education of specialists will allow the future specialist to master professional abilities in the process of foreign communication at the institutes. Communicative skills may be developed, and they can help to carry out concrete professional skills according to professional standards, and realize person’s aims. Communicative skills at vocational training at the university will improve the quality of people’s life and so we may stress that foreign language gives a possibility to think more about cultural aspects and patriotic content of communicative process. It may be pointed out as one of the most actual problems for all world community.

The decision of this problem is connected with modern realization of patriotism and formation patriotic feelings and search optimal pedagogical technologies to solve the problem. The search of different ways of successful patriotic education is considered to be an integrated pedagogical process.

We may point out that different ways of improvement of professional education are possible to do when we use different educational models at the lessons of foreign languages. We may solve the problem if we involve students in the process of patriotic education. So the subjects of educational process are to take active part in the communicative situations.

We may find the decision of the given problem when we realize the purposes and results of training at the lessons of foreign languages in high school. Now the reference to communicative competence of future specialists and the process of speaking foreign language is included into very important tasks of our government and colloquial forms of dialogues at the lessons of learning foreign language are considered to improve the process of professional education and patriotic education of future specialists. Realization the role of patriotism and results of patriotic formation is impossible without understanding the importance of national and international culture phenomena for future specialists [3].

We must not forget about the proclaimed modern slogan “The Europe is our general house” which determines the importance of patriotic education of future specialist. It may be possible if future specialists know foreign languages and can fulfill the social role of a cultural partner with a highly developed sense of patriotism.

The development of patriotism is possible to do on the basis of cultural formation of a specialist; the process of forming communicative competence of a specialist is a basis for personal development [3]. And we point out the main purpose of professional training of future specialists is patriotic education which is reflected in standard documents of the Russian Federation. In these documents the special role of patriotism is included in parity dialogues and in communication with different purposes.
