SOLUTIONS TO IMPROVE THE EFFICIENCY OF
MINING ENTERPRISES
Efficiency
of mining is determined by the correctness of the decisions as laid down in the
design stage of the mining enterprise, and in the process of field development.
This is largely dependent on the ability of management to make effective
management decisions.
The
need for optimization of mining production occurs at all stages of its
functioning design of mining production, field development, reconstruction or
closure of the facility.
The
goals of optimization of mining processes largely depend on the stage of the
reservoir exploitation and external factors determining the demand and prices
for mineral raw materials, as well as the production development strategy.
Among
the main directions of optimization of production highlight:
•
reducing the cost of commercial products;
•
reducing capital expenditures;
•
increase the economic assessment or the increase of capitalization of the
company;
•
increase of labor productivity at the enterprise;
•
improving the competitiveness of commercial products;
•
ensuring the completeness/efficiency of extraction of useful mineral;
•
increase industrial and environmental safety of production.
Ideally,
optimization of mining production should increase the efficiency on all above
components. However, in practice there is often a contradiction between
individual components, determining the effectiveness of mining.
In
particular, conflict can arise between the economic efficiency of amrabat-key
stocks and ensuring the completeness of extraction of usefultion of fossil.
To
reduce payback period and increase increase in the IRR, the mining company
often takes decisiontion of selective mining of mineral resources, which also
akramaet service life of the enterprise. In some cases this is a necessary
measure aimed at preserving tion of the viability of the company in terms of
SNI-tion of the revenue. Moreover, in many countries, such the approach is more
proper when priority is NYM is extracting the maximum profit for the entire
period of mining stocks that also took-provides tax revenues, and not reduction
tion of the effectiveness of testing as a result of extraction "poor"
rock mass individual production which Boo children to be economically
inefficient. In Russia in a crisis, the number of producing wells sowent on
ways to reduce Stripping or both specialnosti opened and prepared for
izvleci-NIJ reserves. As a short-term measure, this can be valid. However,
long-term investigators tion of such a policy will inevitably affect
inespo-hand and production efficiency in the future, not mention the
contradiction of those steps, acting-th legislation in the field of subsoil
use. So well as and lower payroll in maintain-research Institute of the state
and mode of operation practiced.

Experience
mountain consultants, including IMC Montan can be used to develop the actions
promoting increase of effective the activity of production in General and
individual process.
There
are three main directions to enhance
the
effectiveness of mining production:
•
organizational activities;
•
technical measures;
•
technological activities.
Consider
the examples of optimization for each of these areas.
Organizational
measures include:
•
increase of management efficiency of the company a first / optimization
management functions;
•
replacement of middle and senior management of STA-in the case of lack of
effectiveness;
•
reorganization of the management structure.
In
the first case we are talking about reform should official duties of the staff.
Analysis shows in some cases, mining enterprises in the normal the schedule
includes positions that do not carry any specific functions. In some cases,
these positions are a consequence of the complex history of time development of
production, when we created a formal positions for specific persons.
Many modern companies realize that Dantion load is inefficient, and
strive to restructure the job duties with the goal improve performance and
efficiency labor management personnel. Enough ass-larrym was the involvement of
external consultants to develop recommendations for improving efficiency
activity control.
On the object in question was adopted a number of decisions and in
improving the economic efficiency of the processing plant.
Marketing analysis of the coal market allowed to determine the rational
structure of commercial coal in terms of ash content classes. Revision
tehnologicheskoy scheme of enrichment with the release of low-ash class a
without further screening, dense medium gravity separation have improved the
overall yield of marketable products, reduce operating costs of enrichment to
process a larger volume of raw coal without building new factories, to ensure
the growth of the company.
A very large increase in production capacity of coal mines brings
shortening of rewiring purification equipment. Possible to use the following
ways of optimization of Premantura:
• intensification of the process of rewiring due to the purchase of
specialized equipment;
• change of mining infrastructure;
• involvement of specialized organizations that provide comprehensive
services for the transportation and installation of equipment;
• the purchase of additional sets or parts cleaning equipment
The effectiveness of the implementation of these activities, for
example, several mines are shown on the chart: Enter additional LiveConnect
provides maximum rhythm and continuity of mining operations, increasing the
annual capacity of "mine-lava" by 10-30 %.
Thus, any owner interested in improving the efficiency of their
businesses. The holding company will organize a special unit, whose function is
substantiation of investment projects, development and implementation of
new production initiatives. Often such projects involved the consulting company
and engineering organization that
allows you to not only independently assess the ability of enterprises,
but also to use the accumulated international and Russian experience.
