STUDY OF THE ISSUE OF PROSPECTS FOR
IMPROVEMENT THE POPULATION PROVISION WITH HOMEOPATHIC MEDICINES IN CURRENT
CONDITIONS
Homeopathy
attracts attention of scientists and practitioners due to the peculiarities of
therapy based on the use of homeopathic medicines (HomMed) in very small doses
(benefits - preventive and therapeutic targeting, the effect on the level of
the whole organism, no side effects and complications, etc.). Therefore there
is a need to study the condition of the population support by HomMed and
clarify possible ways to improve it. All of the above predetermined the goal of
our study.
Primarily
the presence of HomMed of industrial production was investigated in the
pharmaceutical market of Ukraine. It was found that more than 217 names are
registered, including 90.0% of them that are of foreign origin from countries
such as Germany, Australia, Russia, Italy, El Salvador, Switzerland, France and
others. Accordingly, domestic producers make only 10.0 % of HomMed nomenclature.
Manufacturers: "Homeopathic National Union " - 21 names, "Biolik
" - 2 names. Thus, domestic HomMed can not fully meet the needs of today's
population in this extent, especially for future needs. It’s required to find
ways to expand the nomenclature of HomMed of domestic production, including the
way through the pharmacy manufacturing. In Ukraine, manufacturing of HomMed in
homeopathic pharmacies has always been popular ever since the creation of the
first such pharmacy in Kiev in 1835. Today the network of homeopathic
pharmacies is also developed, although in most cases homeopathic departments
are created in existing general purpose pharmacies, which have kept (or
created) conditions for extemporal manufacturing of drugs.
Therefore,
studies confirmed that the perspective directions of improvement of population
provision with HomMed could be expansion of homeopathic pharmacy (departments)
in conjunction with the provision of homeopathic care and also reconstruction
of conditions for extemporal manufacturing of HomMed in pharmacies. These
researches took place, but more than 20 years ago. Thus, the justified
criterias were the evaluated, reasonability of establishing homeopathic
pharmacy (departments) normalized number of such pharmacies, conditions for
extemporal manufacturing of HomMed, design and equipment of homeopathic
pharmacy, organization of the labor process of specialists and others. (O.M.
Dolzhnikova, 1992, D.N. Abdulayev, 1992; N.V. Subotnikova, 1994). But such
studies were not conducted in present market conditions. Therefore this area is
perspective. Particular attention should be paid to the creation of normative
justification of organizational, material and technical manufacturing of HomMed
in pharmacies.
Scientific
field of manufacturing of new home HomMed of industrial and pharmaceutical
production in a variety of medicinal forms remains relevant. The study showed
that preference may be given to tablets, drops, solutions, granules, ointments.
Thus, there are perspective directions for improving of
population provision with HomMed in modern conditions. They are organizational,
economic, material and technical (expanding the network of specialized
homeopathic pharmacies with the right for extemporal manufacturing of HomMed
using prescription of homeopaths, design and equipment of them, creating
homeopathic departments based on existing pharmacies with the organization of
the workplace for extemporal manufacturing of HomMed), organizational,
technological and industrial (technological development of new domestic HomMed)
and pharmacy (technological justification of new compositions and dosage forms
for extemporal manufacturing in pharmaceutical conditions) directions.
