The importance of spiritual
values in the discipline of self-knowledge
The
President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev in his
presidential address underlined: “We have to build the society, which
values honor, pleasant quality and authority, high humanity, ethical standards
and moral values of everyone”. The main aim of the education is upbringing
healthy, with high level of the spiritual thinking and awakened national
consciousness, cultural, moral, conscientious,
hard-working and with other entrenched valuable qualities generation [1].
Accordingly
with the entry into the Bologna process, towards the global educational sphere
the government accepted the concept of the development of education in the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2015. Because of the
basic positions and international
standard bundle of the Bologna Declaration which found out suitable personnel
training processes for new society level in the conception of the development
of education about mutual recognition of the qualifications belonging knowledge
in the Lisbon convention, several changes have taken places. It is undoubtedly that, today the main goal of the colleges is preparation of a competitive staff. Due to the era requirement, the requirements for colleges from society
change as well. A
importance of these requirements is necessity of the innovative maintenance
action in the pedagogical process. The meaning of the innovative process
depends on the engulfing the dynamic processes and the changes of the all news.
In
the concept of the development of education of the Republic of Kazakhstan
for years before 2015: charge of secondary education are cultivation of morals,
the education of the humanity and patriotism, upbringing honor to refer to the
human rights and freedom, to love the Motherland. In the presidential address,
New Kazakhstan in the new world-2007, to the people of Kazakhstan it is underlined
that the National competitiveness, firstly, is determined by education level, therein, patriotism. Also, in the State
programme, the development of education
in the Republic of Kazakhstan
for 2005-2010, status of education issues fully discussed, paying attention to
the strengthening of moral values, the necessity of introduction of effective
system of students on the basis of
humanism and internationalism was mentioned.
The
President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev in his presidential
address
paying particular attention to the problems of
education, creating a model of a
national School of during the transition on 12 years of education, underlined
the necessity of nurturing patriotism, humanism and patriotic feeling in
growing generation. Hence, it is obvious that the main objective of education
is to educate the younger generation on humanity.
In the words of the head
of state, Kazakhstan would be at that level which how teachers who work for the
future educate them. Therefore, his words-it is difficult duty on teachers, puzzle great responsibility.
Great speculator Abai, emphasizing the
important role of education in human development, concludes that, human
character taking lessons throughout the lifetime and varies depending on the
environment and this is evident from his behaviour, rejecting the view
"what is in the bones, it leaves when bone does it". Evaluating the human character of the morals, ethics, humanity, he divides them into good and bad.
He says: “If you want to be in the range of sensible people, once a day or at
least once a week, at the very least once a month give yourself a report on how
you spent your life” [2].
Therefore, the emphasis on the importance and nature of
the problem of self-education. As
said an overseas eminent scientist S.L.
Rubinshtein [3], teaching we educate, educating we
train. As wrote great thinker
of XX century, the most prominent representative of the
neo-Freudianism E.From, the measurements in society engenders, characteristics
of the members society namely, characteristics of society[4].
It
proved that, nowadays, where moral-humanity trend is lost and during the
over-technical modern civilizational disaster, just the awakening of the human
spirit and his sense of belonging to the high spiritual substance will save. This project started in 2001 and the case was comprehensively supported by
leading educators, scientists, methodist-teachers and educators in general of all intellectual
society. At the national schools project “Self-knowledge” was
examined and is being implemented in the education system. From 2010-2011
academic year this discipline was implemented into all general educational
institutions. The project “Self-knowledge” of the President, the of fund “Bobek”, who took the life experience
to absorb spiritual values in the younger generation, author of
the project S.A.Nazarbayeva, developed and showed the effective way of
foundation of moral-humanism. It is undoubtedly that the fate of the people in
society, education of young generation are one of the essential problem.
Thereby, in state colleges there was opened the discipline “Social pedagogy and
self-knowledge”, and also instructed to open the way for training for a
bachelor's degree, Master’s degree and PhD. Given government scholarships and public higher education institutions
of the country are preparing frame. Moreover, in recent years the discipline
“Self-knowledge” is maintained in all specialities. It is mentioned that thinking about their humane
essence, upbringing of offspring,
giving humane education are uplifting spiritual potency, establishing their own
'I'.
Discipline
of “Self-knowledge” takes aim at following foundations of spiritual directions:
- to determine their position in life;
- to resolve different problems respectively human principles;
- to relate the benefit of themselves, people and the environment;
- to help people, take care to relatives and family;
- to live in harmony on their own, to be sincere in his thoughts, words and
actions;
- to demonstrate creativity and activity, citizenship and patriotism;
- to be ready to choose own thoughts, words, humanity and be responsible
for them
- to develop habits of service to the community, in
reality, etc.
As it is said, "The obvious goal does not mislead" – to hold
roundtable, creative evenings, meetings, debates, discussions,
games, training on themes "Key of happiness with
own hands", "Human values", "Courtesy of Life," "World, what you're beautiful!" etc. we know the conversation with an intelligent society, who left behind
an indelible contribution is very significant.
Each chapter, each
topic of the subject based on
forming the person who picks the head of humane principles and goals throughout
life, soaking up the sources of spiritual humanity and nurturing behavior.
Circles
as "Circles of joy", "Let's dream", "Myself," "Magic
words", "Let's
talk", "Time
awake", "Dramatization",
"Game-exercise", "From heart to heart" that show the feature in this subject, affects the forming
children's development center. Games, the main parts of
the training offered in the subjects of self-knowledge aims to teach children
kindness, friendship, love, respect. Namely,
there are games during the lessons tend to soak up the entire human
spiritual values.
The purpose of
self-knowledge is to relate kindly to people and the environment, helping people as possible, to take care
relatives and friends, to give spiritual and humane education. As noted by the author of this discipline Sara Alpyskyzy "dehiscence
abilities, finding ways to itself, with its belief in the virtue of the will of
each child is very important to determine the place in life! Love has to reach from heart to heart, creating an aura of love and
kindness in the world” .
“Self-discipline”
establishes common humanity values as kindness, humanism in the
young, quenching his thirst for spiritual morals.
Self-knowledge is
the first step in giving a deeper meaning itself.
This knowledge and experience who can make it possible to
reach an understanding with the people, to give aid to people in a timely
manner, to examine the ability of support in difficult times. Spiritual and humane education gives a child, a teenager
confidence in a bright future. "Self-knowledge - is the recognition of
oneself", "In order to know the other, find themselves" - says the ancient Greek philosopher
Socrates. The main task is to influence each person to find
his place in life. Self-discipline is the most important
value of the world as it is based on human rights and human life, the
appearance of happiness and joy. Training
from an early age to be honest son of the people, which develops national
values despite the modest truth of life, worthy of an honorable
name of the person is sought after by society.
The meaning of the question of spiritual and humane
self-knowledge in the twenty-first century is very wide. It dates back from national values,
spiritual heritage, mentality, edifying discourse of the people. A man who has known himself, understood the meaning of
life will tend to educate themselves, controlling,
testing to
find a place in life and happiness. Self-knowledge - the doctrine that considers the understanding of the truth
of man from himself. It is aimed at the integration of
the system of private values that matches its uniqueness with universal human.
Knowledge of spiritual and humane self-discipline - a mechanism implementation
and dissemination of national values, the meaning of life and
example, the content and form of the national-spiritual education related to
the history, native language, philosophy, literature and psychology[5].
If we say "There is no greater teacher than
people", national spiritual heritage would be the core of who develops
spiritually humane feeding generation.
One way that leads to the
spiritual wealth is
knowledge, and the second way - the implementation of this knowledge into
useful. First person relying on the
value of knowledge tries to
change their environment for the better. Because of that the man, who climbed to the summit of spiritual development would not only understand the meaning and the essence of life,
but also would try to reign kindness. The purpose of the society
that keeps its direction humanity, humanism - to lead everyone to the level of
wealth of the spiritual. Today
only to teach young people is not enough, they need to fully develop, nurture
new skills. World development,
scientific technology requires to
be with unrestrained imagination, educated, progressive-mannered. So, giving the knowledge in terms of spiritual and humanistic aim to
develop quality, as
to show themselves actively in any enviroment and to hold high human shape. Today in our country all the
conditions are made for the formation and development of the individual,
discover the spiritual power potentials of persons on the basis of national and
civic values, humanity and establish a healthy lifestyle. Main purpose of upbringing is to discover inner values,
personal qualities of each person and to learn to appreciate.
Work is aimed at self-knowledge, self-development respectively the child's
age must be carried out not only in schools but also in the family with the
help of parents in the integral direction. The self-discipline teaches adolescent to live in a bright
world, to realize that he is a Man,
to give joy to others. It helps to understand that there are a dear people
around. Teaches to achieve a sense
of people and justify it. Educates be honest duty and
obligation. It gives the desire to leave an
indelible mark. Encourages
prove gift, humanity.
As
it is said "not to be lighted star at that who does not rely on spiritual
values," as required by the wave era to use effectively come from
ancestors, literary heritage, the instruction of the people, praising the
teaching, tradition, remarkable resourcefulness, not the aging words that are
left of them teaching of morality and humanity, in order to be an example to the present generation. Self-discipline is the beginning from the earliest times, it can be said
that extension the tradition handed down from our distant ancestors[6].
Educational project of self-knowledge - the
peak of wisdom, it is cognition of human himself, opening their ability to
achieve happiness and success in life. In this case, to improve the spiritual culture of youth, enrichment graceful
world in shaping the knowledge of the world, upbringing a healthy way of life,
the role of self-knowledge is very important. Outlining the main programme of self-knowledge - is that people should recognize the environment, peered into the soul, on the basis of
self-control to raise the spiritual potential of humanity. In the basis of morality in the light of personality, the
role of the subject is a particularly high [7]. Therefore, it is an integrated
programme.
This subject enables to change each person in a good way, affecting
self-knowledge and spiritual enrichment. Moreover, it gives orientation on self-knowledge and possess the qualities
of determining the value of life position and the level of worldview. Children trained in terms of spirituality, morality, and
consider the system of vital value, quenched their point of view, arguing the
problem of spiritual and material relationship.
The teacher who teaches the subject of self-knowledge,
teaching, spiritual, humanity must be
like a winged eagle, blazing like fire, and he has to conquer his natural charm
to children. Necessary to be able to
give mercy that could rejoice pleasure, kindness and joy of life. Only then a
child's heart will blossom. can to emit to other warm-heartedness. Will introduce itself, and will find out others as they are, will be indulgent.
Self-knowledge lesson of humanity - the subject of such a beacon that leads to the intended target.
So,
if there is such harmony, not only for today, but also can provide a bright
future, you can bring up citizen pressing forward, dreamy, with high dreams,
with elation. If we consider each child in the world of self-discovery
as the holder of spiritual power and
we support, reinforce,
there is no doubt that we would bring
up, humane, ever stirrups, pollinating around kindness, loving the motherland,
language, family, hard-working, honest Man.
