Educational-methodical complexes are
specifically designed to teach students a particular specialty and focuses on learning linguistic means (grammar, vocabulary, phonetics) and communicative functions
are relevant to the specific usage of language associated with a particular specialty;
It is necessary to take into account the needs of
professional and personal
interests of students (professionally significant topic and
situations used in language
learning, authentic tasks, problem texts, debate topical issues
related to the future professional activities, etc.) which contributes to the motivation of the study of a foreign language.
Also, the development of computer technology and Internet technology encourages teachers to actively use new technological advances for training purposes. Using Internet resources means the ability to use
the necessary information to locate
important information literate
- a skill that should
be taught, which is no less
important in a professionally-oriented training. Internet technology is a powerful impetus to the development,
to new achievements and aspirations.
Professionally-oriented communication can occur in
formal and informal settings, in the
form of interviews with foreign
colleagues, presentations at
meetings, conferences, group discussions, writing
business letters and e-mail.
Therefore, the content of learning a foreign language
should be professional and communicative orientation. It is necessary to
clearly define the purpose of teaching a foreign language student - non-linguists.
Students' interest in the subject
will increase, when they clearly understand the prospects of using the knowledge gained, when these knowledge and skills in the future will be able to increase their chances of success in any activity.
The essence of professionally-oriented foreign
language teaching lies in its integration
with subspecialties in order to obtain
additional professional knowledge and
the formation of professionally significant qualities of the person.
Of course, the teacher professionally-oriented foreign language must learn
the basics of the specialty, basic
vocational vocabulary navigate
the terminology.
There are several ways to solve the difficulties that
arise:
- Usage in the
classroom materials that introduce the basic concepts of the specialty;
- To create situations in which students could use their theoretical knowledge in the specialty
for solving practical problems;
- Use the help of subject teacher
as for preparation for classes, as well as during their implementation.
In modern society it is important that today's
graduates were professionally successful
and mobile, able to build their own careers, work in conditions of
fierce competition in the domestic
and international markets, and actively
promote the successful development of the whole society.
Development and implementation of the educational process of teaching materials
and manuals on specialty designed to facilitate the implementation of
professionally-oriented foreign language
training specialists and technical schools improve students' motivation to learn the language.
