Phytotherapeutic agents in nutrition students
The relevance of this study due to the fact that increased mental and
emotional stresses produced during the learning process at the university, may
adversely affect the health of students.
Increase
mental and physical performance, adaptation to training loads
- one of the major challenges facing both doctors and
teachers. Only joint efforts in this direction will help to improve the health of the younger generation.
One of the ways to strengthen and restore the health of a herbal medicine,
the benefits of which are made in environmental friendliness and natural
ingredients, the possibility to combine with other synthetic drugs, rare side
effects, a wide range of actions available [1-10]
However, the effectiveness of herbal medicine influence on young people's
health has been little studied. In view
of the above, the purpose of the present study was to investigate the influence
of phytotherapeutic agents on the health of students in the learning process.
To achieve this goal a number of challenges:
1. to study in the literature value of herbal medicine as a means of
rehabilitation and health promotion
2. to examine the state of health of students on the basis of the developed
profiles;
3. the technique of application phytotherapeutic means students with
various violations of health;
4. study the effectiveness of the
proposed methods of herbal medicine.
To solve the problems, we have used the following methods:
1. The analysis of the literature,
2. The analysis of the medical records,
3. questioning,
4. The mathematical analysis of the data.
The study was conducted on the basis of specialized secondary educational
institution SKMK them. Safonov city Mineral Waters, with students I-IV courses
in age from 16 to 20 years.
The experiment lasted for four weeks, it was attended by 10 students. Of
these, 6 boys and 4 girls.
In order to detect abnormalities in their health status, we have developed
and put into practice the appropriate profile, consisting of a number of
issues.
Analysis of the questionnaires showed that the most common complaints of
the students were physical and mental fatigue, leading to sleep disturbance and
increased excitability. Complaints issued, all 10 subjects. The average number
of complaints from one student was 2.7.
After analysis of the questionnaire identified the main indications for the
addition of herbal nutrition in students identified the main symptoms that
require correction plant collections. Relevant fitosbory been individually
selected and accepts students for a month.
Students with identified impaired mental and physical performance in power
have been added to the infusion of ginseng and Aralia. These herbal medicines
has a tonic and adaptogenic effect, stimulate metabolism, prevent the
development of general weakness, fatigue and enhance physical and mental
performance [1, 5, 10].
Students with the abuses of mental state were offered the following herbal:
Passiflora extract inkarnatnoy, motherwort tincture, infusion of valerian.
These drugs are shown in neurasthenia and conditions associated with long-term
neuro-mental stimulation.
Just these herbal, with a sedative and hypnotic effect of light, normalize
sleep, reduce nervous excitability and eliminate the headache [2, 3, 10].
Subjects were diagnosed with low immunity, appetite, as well as with muscle
weakness in power have been added yellow gentian and rose hip syrup. These
assets are shown in immunodeficiency, decreased appetite, and as well as a
restorative remedy for fatigue and muscle weakness [7, 8, 9].
Students with identified sleep disturbances in the power assigned
motherwort tincture, extract of valerian herb uliginose. These agents of plant
origin have a sedative effect. Valerian extract facilitates the onset of natural
sleep, sedation occurs slowly, but quite stable. [4, 6, 8, 10].
Following the experiment, it was found that the total number of students
complaints decreased 3.4 times, the number of complaints in terms of a single
student of 0.8 (vs. 2.7 in the beginning of the experiment).
The number of students with complaints of violation being reduced by 30 %
and amounted to 7 people. In addition, these 7 students the number of
complaints and their intensity decreased significantly. Complaints of insomnia
and mental fatigue stopped completely, the incidence of all other complaints
are reduced on average by 47 %
No changes were complaints of muscle weakness and decreased emotional
background. This is because the data for eliminating pathological states
requires a greater amount of time.
Ñonclusions:
1. According to the literature,
herbal medicine is a tool that allows you to restore health and can be
recommended for use in complex rehabilitation.
2. As a result of the survey found that the most frequent complaints of
violation of the health of the students are the physical and mental fatigue,
which leads to disturbed sleep and increased excitability, which requires the
development of specific measures to eliminate detected violations.
3. In the course of the study, we have developed and practiced herbal
medicine techniques, taking into account individual characteristics of each
subject.
4. As a result of the study, we obtained data confirms the positive impact
of the proposed herbal on the body of students. Thus, the total number of
complaints has decreased by 3.4 times, complaints of insomnia and mental
fatigue stopped completely, the incidence of most of the other complaints
decreased on average by 47%.
5. This study confirms the possibility and necessity of adding to the power
of herbal students, to improve the health and well-being of students and
improve their adaptation to the training load.
