Features of the formation of the modern professional social worker

At the present stage of development of social work and the priority given to the problems of natural formation of professionalism of social workers, expanding holistic entity personnel potential of social services and the ways to gain the training and retraining of various categories of social work professionals.

Uncertainty and instability of the modern world are creating new incentives and opportunities for increasing the role of professional social workers in the resolution, overcoming, or at least mitigate many social conflicts, social exclusion, establishment of a new stratification of Kazakh society, the formation of the welfare state and, of course, civil society.

Professionalism in social work - not an abstract concept, distant from the real needs of the modern Kazakh society and essential characteristic of specific types of social activities, such as social service, social education, social studies, etc.

The process of professional development is presented as a social worker in the gradual acquisition of professionally significant characteristics, mastering professional knowledge and skills, role functions. Outline some features of this process.

Vocational and personal development can not take place in isolation from the overall development of human beings, so includes all components of the holistic development of the individual.

It is known that the formation of man as a professional is closely linked with its development as a person; personal space wider professional and significantly affects him. Identity of the person usually has a positive effect on the choice of profession, the course of professional adaptation, professional fulfillment, stimulates professional excellence and creativity. Professional personality traits as their formation and development are beginning to reverse (positive or negative) influence on the personality.

Content of professional development as a socio-pedagogical phenomenon includes the unity and struggle of opposites: domestic needs, motives and external goals and objectives, processes and internalization of external effects, interactions and interaction  that provides its real dynamics and achieve full professional personality and activities.

Professional development depends on factors such as the subjective nature (eg inclination possibilities, abilities, values, motivational readiness, etc.) and objective (eg, the importance of the profession in the society and its legal and social status, etc.).

Professional development of social workers - is the process of oncoming traffic and the society of the individual; it is characterized by the unity of the social order and human needs in the creation of his own life as a unique . It appears as an organic unity of outer and inner world of the individual, objective and subjective factors, and continuing professional education is a means, the condition of this interaction, the basis for achieving excellence and individual activities.

Currently, many researchers (B.G.Bocharov, A.I.Lyashenko, N.B. Shmelev) develop models of professionalism and individual social workers at different levels.

The first level consists of the characterization of objective and subjective indicators of the overall plan, which are reflected in the person and work of senior students have: personality match the requirements of the profession, its willingness and readiness to make their professional knowledge and skills in social practice; sufficiently high productivity technologies used in the field of social assistance, adaptation, rehabilitation person, group of persons with various problems.

The second level is for indicators of professionalism inherent in skilled professionals varying specialization : 1) Procedure (the effectiveness of the methods, techniques, technology, social work ); 2) legal and ethical (matching the person and work eligibility requirements and ethical principles, norms , standards) ; 3) cash basis of personality and activity (the level of preparedness of the person and his professional activity at the moment); 4) score (quality of effectiveness, efficiency, social work , professional status of the person in this activity); 5) predictive (desire to "design" their skills as individuals and activities in achieving the "acme" - the highest point of career ); 6) professional learning (desire, motivation, constantly improve the professional and personal level , learn from peers, the desire for self-education, self-development); 7) active social position, competitive personality and profession.

The third level is not only the above-mentioned characteristics of professionalism, but also supplemented by indicators such as creativity, individuality and innovation.

Creativity is seen as a new formation that goes beyond professionalism. Difficulties that exist in solving professional problems of varying complexity, have to overcome not only because of the great interest in the results of the work, but also the ability to concentrate, having a high endurance, flexibility and analyticity mind. It promotes self-assertion of the individual in activities, appearing most important category of the person as an individual. Considering personality in the profession, it may be noted that it is something more than creativity, as personal-individual qualities, traits and properties help a person to reveal themselves in the profession so that all biological and mental, personal originality originality becomes professional, making unique manner of work, to exercise individual professional handwriting style of work.

The term "personal identification and profession", also often used by foreign psychologists (E. Roe, D. Super , etc.), merging means life with his professional activities in which they acquired the quality and properties begin to appear in all other spheres of life and determine its relationship to reality. All life begins to obey the interests of the profession, they come to the fore. The result of the formation of identity becomes vocational personality type.

It is known that the process of interaction between the individual and the profession in the broadest sense is bilateral. Formed in the activities of acquiring peculiar to representatives of the professional group, common basic features, qualities and attributes, personality has a transformative effect on the activity itself . "Story" himself, he builds and professional environment and contributes to the development of the profession itself (new profession) - a social worker - by creating its content- technological foundations , creative understanding of goals, objectives, methods and techniques of social protection rights.

Specialist professional has a "restless" nature in terms of the desire to use non-standard, but effective, means, methods for social assistance, compensation, rehabilitation, man. He constantly searching for optimal methods of social work, seeks to learn from their colleagues, domestic and foreign experience. His colleagues sometimes do not see it any bright professional features, but at the same time he still personifies a particular professional strategy.

Specialist innovator, has a certain professional position, evident in their professional environment, as it symbolizes her, in favor of its ideology. Social worker of this type, selecting all interesting and useful (from experience, literature, printing), for its efficiency as it produces professional-personal conception of his work, combining the system of personal and professional values.

Thus, the professional development of social worker - a complex, continuous process of "design" of the personality. Awareness of its future activities already motivates students to develop the knowledge required to obtain a special, professional development in the field of social work and the achievement of a certain level of skill. Last , according to E.F. Zeer , acquired as a result of the passage of five stages:

- "Option" - the formation of professional and personal intentions, informed career choices based on individual psychological characteristics;

- "Training" - the formation of a professional orientation and professional knowledge and skills, the acquisition of theoretical and practical experience in professional situations and solving problems;

- "Professional adaptation" - getting into the profession, the development of a new social role, professional self-determination, the formation of personal and professional qualities, experience, independent of professional activity;

- "Professionalization" - the formation of a professional position, the integration of personal and professional qualities and skills important in a relatively stable professionally relevant education, qualified performance of professional activities;

- "Professional skills" - the full realization, self-realization of the individual in professional activities using creativity based mobile integrated psychological neoplasms.

In this regard professionalism as one of the leading terms of social work is based and is based on personal and professional qualities, values and interests of the social worker. Development of these qualities and entities formalization model of professional activity contributes to the decision, from our point of view, the following tasks:

- Development of personal interest in their chosen profession;

- The formation of the original assumptions about the basics of professional work;

- Formation of professional motivational installation on future operations;

- Formation of professional and personal "self-concept".

Thus, obtaining a profession - a crucial stage of human life associated with professional self-determination and professional adaptation and further formation ultimately professionalism. The starting point is the content of the answers to the questions:

- What do I want from my career?

- What should I do to achieve success in your chosen career move?

- What can I (should) be done to realize the potential and personal interests?

Under these conditions, the future of the social worker has a special mission, which he can perform only on condition of formation of special personal qualities. They acquire social significance, are prerequisite for the development of both production and social relations.

Of course, a prerequisite for the development of the individual as a professional - specialist social - playing interdependence trend forming professional and individual social worker. This trend reflects a certain pattern: personality develops and manifests itself in the activities of its essence. Process interaction personality and professional activities in the broad sense is bilateral. Formed in the activities of acquiring peculiar to representatives of the socio- professional group of properties, qualities, personality has a transformative effect on the activity itself.

"Build" themselves in activities personality forms and professional environment, the community, contributing to the development and improvement of social work, provides individual creative rethinking objectives, content, shapes, forms and technologies of social care and support, correction and rehabilitation of both the individual and groups of people in difficult social conditions of life.
