The
future of any country is largely determined by the level of education and
training of today's younger generation, his ideological position, desire and
ability to participate actively in the life of the country. Meaning of life orientations
of the individual, her outlook on life, the plans are the projection of the
spiritual life of society affected by social influences, due to the system of
education and training in the home and at school, a certain structure of social
relations. The question of how one finds it’s meaning as the meaning of life
affects the development of the individual is relevant for the understanding of
the psychological aspect of the process of professional development. It is
impossible to overestimate the role of education in finding the meaning of
human existence.
Professional
activities of the individual, is unique among the diverse species, forming a
basic form of activity of the subject, it accumulates the main characteristics
of the main types of human activities - socially determined, conscious,
purposeful work. In the course of professional activities of persons inevitably
comes to social relations that mediate the dynamics of life orientations
through new relationships and encourage personal development. [1] This is the
most important for the profession of psychologist. When the subject of positive
motivation of the whole process of professional activity causes the formation,
development and effective implementation of the personal characteristics that
determine the structure of the professional psychologist significant qualities
of the profession, and leaves its mark on the entire face of the person:
psychomotor, speech and thought patterns, attitudes and values. All this
complex personality tumors expressed in the professional vision of the world, central
formative core of which, in our view, is a system of personal meanings
professional level of performance of which determines the relationship of man
to nature, a process orientation and operating results. That personal sense,
functioning on the level of value and meaning to indicate a person's attitude
to the profession as an integral part of his life that determines his status in
society [1].
Each
particular occupational group is inherent in its sense of, their own system of
values, determined, and activities for its object. In this context of great interest
to professional groups, whose activities as a form of self-fulfillment is due
to moral and ethical principles in relation to its object, i.e., profession
with deontological status. An example of this type of profession is a practical
activity of a psychologist, which is specific, its terms of the challenges
arising from the interaction of a specialist with a wide range of phenomena
surrounding social reality (the political, economic and cultural changes in
society and man-made disasters to the specific difficulties of life of the
individual).
In
the normal course of business psychologists have to deal with different age,
social, cultural categories of people, but the object of his work is always
individual person coming for help, as the appointing his life's difficulties
and challenges a person, it should be borne in mind that During this
interaction itself psychologist becomes a significant element of the inner
circle of the man. All of this requires a psychologist specific individual
qualities, philosophy, values and, above all, meaningful relationship to itself
as a subject of professional activities. Most researchers are problems
efficient professional psychologists point out the importance of the severity
of certain special abilities in this type of activity. They believe that the
main special ability is a psychologist communication skills, they give out: the
ability to fully and correctly perceive people: observation, quick orientation
in the situation, communication skills, the ability to control the situation,
the ability to understand the intrinsic properties and characteristics of man:
his insight into the spiritual world, intuition, the ability for empathy:
empathy, compassion, kindness and respect for the person, the willingness to
help the person, the ability to analyze their behavior, the ability to govern
themselves and the process of communication [1]. The development of these
skills directly related to the value orientations because the ability to become
a valuable educational processes. Therefore, working on professional values, we
are working on professional skills of a psychologist. N.A. Aminov and M.V.
Molokanov, the success of psychologists see in the level of formation
characteristics such as interpersonal (communication) and design (power of
influencing the behavior of others) and the ability to focus anthropocentric
(integral sensitivity to the object, process, and outcome of psychological
operations). On this basis, they derive some components of the special
abilities of a psychologist. In particular, these include individual
psychological characteristics of thinking (social intelligence as the ability
to understand other people's behavior) and projective action (facilitation as
supportive style of social relations). M.V. Molokanov also believes that the
makings of special abilities and skills to work in the field of applied
psychology are the physiological prerequisites, in particular, the properties
of activation and the labiality of the nervous system [3]. In a study by L.M.
Bechtoldom, E.E. Werner, R.B. Cattell and J.E. Drevdal obtained following a
psychological portrait of an effective psychologist: a personality with
creative thinking, prone to introspection, loving to work alone, independent
and opinionated, but always ready to seize new opportunities for new
experiences, emotionally stable, endowed with a strong sense of self-control,
not committed to standards has flexible thinking and adaptable [3].
This
problem was widely covered in the modern psychological literature, however, to
talk about these or other characteristics that determine the effectiveness of a
psychologist (regardless of what level of functioning in question -
psychophysiological premises or personality traits), is possible only in the
case of a meaningful relationship to his professional context professional
activity and its relation to the activity itself, in the context of a holistic
life. Personal characteristics of the expert, in fact, will gain the status of
professionally significant qualities if he is inwardly free in the choice
situation and is able to take responsibility for the process and the result of
their activities. In situations of choice is the realization and actualization
of values. Such situations may make the choice to choose a job, career, work
with difficult clients, and the choice of a life partner. Development of
competence and personality psychologists as experts begins a student and lasts
for many years. As the N.S. Pryazhnikov and Ye.Yu. Pryazhnikova, not all
psychologists are "full cycle" of this development, many of the
"stuck" at some stage, that is, stay in their professional
development. You can not blame these "stranded" in the development of
psychologists: it means that they have found for themselves a certain meaning
in their work and they just do not need to look for some more complex meanings.
Perhaps, over time, they continue their creative exploration, and may not
continue - it is their right to choose! Professional development is a private
affair of a psychologist, his professional destiny. It has no regulatory
criteria. Personal characteristics of the expert, in fact, will gain the status
of professionally significant qualities if he is inwardly free in the choice
situation and is able to take responsibility for the process and the result of
their activities [4]. Accordingly, the growth of professional competence
depends on the ability of the person to take responsibility in a situation
deontological choice, and this requires a meaningful relationship of the
subject to his activities in all aspects of the subjective reality of the time.
Consequently, in the course of professional training of psychologists should
pay attention to the content and structure of life orientations specialist, who
were one of the conditions for the development of his professional qualities.
