The condition of microbiogical indexes of oral cavity  microflora  in orthopedic patients, having bridges based on implants

Oral microflora represented by different types of microorganisms , it's relation determine the microbiocenosis  of oral cavity.

Oral microflora as a highly sensitive system , reacts qualitative and quantitative shifts to external impact of changes the state of several organs and body systems , general and local immunoreactivity.

Some patients after orthopedic treatment as result  the impact  of prosthetic materials can mature the  complex pathological reactions of mucosa of the mouth and the body as a whole. It is called " intolerance of  dental structural materials " .

The norm of  oral  cavity microbiocenosis  an optimal combination between the microflora present in it , when there is no antagonism between the individual and the species is not observed excessive growth of some of the representatives of pathogenic or opportunistic pathogens , is coexistence (symbiosis ) of microorganisms is irreducible to the development of pathology.

During the violate the symbiosis with the prevalence of goiter develops patogenic or shareware patogenic microflora manifestation of which is manifested in the form of dental disease

Relevance

Essential significance in the development of dysbiosis may be insertion into the oral cavity dental materials (in this case of dental bridges are made of acrylates ) , on which   microorganisms can be adsorbed with next active  reproduction. This can lead to dental disease and exacerbation of disease such as gingivitis and periodontitis , etc.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of bridges made of acrylates on the oral cavity microflora condition   in patients requiring this type of treatment.

Methods of investigation

Were examined 26 people of both sexes , requiring orthopedic treatment by  bridges .Scraping  of oral mucosa performed by standard swab transport system company "Sarsteds" ( Germany), which allows to increase terms of transportation to bacteriological labs to 72 hours.

Microbiological studies included determination of total microbial count ( TBC ) by counting the microorganism colonies , and also the definition of relations aerobic and anaerobic flora .

    For cultivation used  :

-       for aerobic and facultative bacteria -blood agar ,  Chistovich's medium, Endo agar

-       for anaerobic bacteria  Kito Torotstsis medium.

The cultivation carried out in an incubator at 37 ° C t for  3-5 days Results of quantitative research microflora - the level of contamination was expressed as colony-forming units per 1 ml.

Results of investigation

In the control group ( practically healthy people ) total bacterial count  accounting for 1,2 ± 0,07 Uel . u , and the level of aerobes 9 and anaerobes

     By 1 month after the installation of bridges implant considered total bacterial count by 4% ( P> 0.05 ) and was 1,25 ± 0,09 Uel . u , and the number of aerobic 8.5 ( P > 0.05) , anaerobic 1.5 ( P > 0.05) .

By 3 months after orthopedic treatment microbiological parameters did not differ from that of 1 month after prosthesis . 1,25 ± 0,07 Uel .

In long-term of investigation  6-12 months total bacterial count and the ratio of aerobic / anaerobic bacteria did not differ from benchmarks. 1,2 ± 0,08 Uel . U

   Conclusions

A detailed analysis of microbiological studies, allowed to mAKE A conclusion that installing bridges (made of acrylates) with reliance on implants:

 - do not have any significant changes in indicators of oral microflora

 -  increase in total microbial count was observed at 1 month after orthopedic treatment was 4% higher than the benchmarks.
