Psychological
pedagogical ways of forming a healthy way of life of elementary pupils
The modern
society has the variety of a healthy way of life’s examples where every child
faces it constantly. This variety isn’t always an example for a child, and as a
result, the chaos about a healthy way of life arisesin child’s imagination.
Moreover, nowadays there is a tendency in health worsening of young generation.
Because of that, the need in forming the ways about a healthy way of life
arises and it needs the new ways in education and development of elementary
pupils.
Nowadays,
scientists from different branches explore the problems of forming a healthy way
of life. They are from different branches as: medicine, physiology, psychology
and pedagogics. The scientists’ interest in that problem is special. The
personality’s direction on a healthy way of life is a complicated and
contradictory process. State’s development features, public opinion, ecological
situation, educational process’ technology, teachers’ personality, conditions
and direction of child’s upbringing have an influence on personality’s healthy
way of life.
It’s necessary to make such a child’s educational
environment from the very childhood that would be full of attributes,
symbolism, terminology, knowledge, rituals, traditions in forming character.
That will lead to the need forming in taking a healthy way of life, to the
conscious care of one’s health and people around, to the necessary master of
practical skills. So, formed traditions of a healthy way of life become a
nation’s and state’s property, inseparate part of people’s lives [1].
The educational system plays an important role in
making good conditions for children about a healthy way of life as a care of
strengthening child’s health is not only a medical problem but pedagogical as
well. A well-organized educational work with children provides the forming of
health and a healthy way of life more than a medical sanitary work.
A healthy way of life is an ecobiosocial category that
integrates biological, social and ecological outlook about human’s health and
his vital activity as a physical health depends not only on heredity and care
of child’s health from parents and medical officers but on influence of
ecological factors, on interrelations
of a child with social and ecological environment as well.
An elementary stage is one of the most responsible
periods in every human’s life. It is this period when the health basis and
regular physical development are placed. The forming of moving abilities, the
interest in physical education and sport are formed at this age. The personal,
moral and physical qualities are brought up also at this period. Physical
education plays an important role among many factors such as social-economic,
demographic, cultural, hygienic that have an influence on health condition and
children’s development. No doubt, it’s impossible to achieve a harmonious
organism development of elementary pupilswithout a
physical education.
According to the investigations by Pimonova E.A
lessons on physical education are directed on the mastery of definite moving
skills and doesn’t enable to an effective education of elementary pupils’ moving
qualities [2].
The forming of pupils’ outlook toward a healthy way
of life will be more successful if:
The meaning “a healthy way of life” is definitely
defined and if it involves biological and social outlook as well as ecological
and if it discovers the dependence of a healthy way of life on environmental
conditions
The pedagogical technology is projected that includes
forms, methods, conditions, principles, healthy way of life forming stages as
“health” and “healthy way of life”, “dependence of health and healthy way of
life on social and ecological environmental conditions”, “a healthy way of life
”is the basis of care and strengthening a health and the diagnostics of
defining forming level of a healthy way of life outlook
The
model of interrelations of educational process is worked out that supposes
teachers’ training for forming children’s healthy way of life, for methodical
educational work with parents and a direct influence of teachers and parents on
their children.
According
to that one can have an outlook consisting of four components model.
As
far as we understand, a moral component of health defines its personal level
which is made in accordance with its main aims and life values and is
characterized by a moral personal orientation, its way of life with regard to
yourself, nature and society.
Physical
component is characterized by physical development level, organ and systems’
self-regulation and organism’s spare resources.
Mental
component is defined by mental process’ level and emotional volitional sphere
activity regulation.
Social
component is characterized by a person’s social adaptation and premises for
all-round and long activity in society.
Such
health components, defined by us to some extent, affords showing interinfluenceof
entire organism functioning on the one hand and characteristics of person’s
multy-sided vital activity on the other. And while exploring interrelations of
various health components including age peculiarities, biological and social
sensitive periods, it’s important to point out that the interinfluence between
health and its level of hierarchy can be changed at different age periods. It
is these interinfluences, hereditary and environmental factors, person’s
individual peculiarities that must be in education and forming a healthy way of
life basis [3].
The
following psychological pedagogical conditions of forming elementary pupils’
healthy way of life at school were defined by us:
To
inform a pupil about healthy way of life
To
actualize his emotional attitude toward a healthy way of life
To
enrich his healthy way of life experience
The realization of pedagogical conditions given above
enables their knowledge on theory and practice of forming a healthy way of
life, positive attitude toward their healthy way of life, creative relation to
vital activity realization.
According to the scientific literature, the forming
of a healthy way of life is connected with physical education. Physical
education, according to teacher scientists, is a way of introducing physical
education to a person that enables him to master knowledge in a healthy way of
life, actualize a valuable attitude toward him, makes him active in his
activity.
Consequently, the first psychological pedagogical
condition realization of pupils’ way of life is conducted at physical education
classes.
Physical education subject can enable elementary
pupils’ informative direction toward ahealthy way of life because of:
Combination of two components- basic and variative
and the use of variative component in theoretical program
Improvement of physical education direction to inform
elementary pupils’ healthy way of life
The use of various forms and methods making
elementary pupils for a healthy way of life
Improvement of teacher’s organizational pedagogical
activity
We connect
the combination of basic and variative components of “physical education”
subject with psychological pedagogical conditions realization informing
elementary pupils about a healthy way of life. According to teachers and
psychologists’ point of view, realization, interpretation and getting personal
meanings in any vital activity are mainly changing due to aimful informational
activity. That makes a full filling of given condition corresponding with
introductory level in practical pedagogical activity [4].
We examine actualization
of pupils’ emotional attitude toward a healthy way of life as the next
condition of psychological pedagogical strategy directed on them. The
actualization of pupils’ emotional attitude toward a healthy way of life is an
aimful pedagogical activity connected with transfering his valuable valeological
direction (thoughts, outlook, imagination, belief, setting, feeling, ability)
into its real perception in human’s activity. That condition corresponds with
the second level of given strategy0 the stage of actualization.
As for practical solution of this level, we are
convinced in psychological pedagogical acciology on essence of valuable
attitude. The value gets its actuality
when a person forms relation by getting into interrelation with another person.
It becomes valuable when one person meets the needs of another person, involves
into emotional sphere and gives rise to personal meaning forming inner position
of a person. So, a valuable attitude arises with the help of real life practice
having inner person’s activity. In accordance with it, a great choice of such
pedagogical methods, ways and means was carried out which would have enabled
elementary pupils’ outlook toward a healthy way of life [5].
We carry out the second pedagogical condition with
the help of using discussion methods(dialogues, discussions) that enable
person’s emotional as well as interactive methods, independent, individual and
cooperative forms of activity that provide an active aspect.
Pupils carry
out such model themselves and give a report to a teacher as a self-report. The
third psychological pedagogical condition of forming an elementary pupils’ way
of life is a logic continuation of first two conditions and provides health
enrichment of creative activity, choice of corresponding pedagogical activities,
ways of elementary pupils’ activity organization. We interpret experience
enrichment of a healthy way of life as a basis of psychological pedagogical
activities in mastering various ways of forming and keeping a healthy way of
life and including it in one’s own way of life.
We directed on realization actualization of school
atmosphere while working out the content of this psychological pedagogical
condition. There are resources on forming a pupils’ healthy way of life given
below:
Administrative resource (corresponding programs’
working out, health planning, healthy way of life propaganda, control, etc).
Educational process resources (introduction of
special course on a healthy way of life, physical sanitary organizations,
cultural events and leisure activity forms); the use of none time limit
educational atmosphere (various forms out of school) and joint pupils’
activity.
Medical insurance (pupil’s medical examination, his
health diagnostics, preventive measures, medical ensure, etc).
The teacher informs pupils about educational
possibilities in that direction, takes part in different events, supports them
in realization a healthy way of life. The choice of forms and methods includes
teacher’s consult, pupils’ participation in physical educational, cultural and
leisure forms of activity which attach them to a healthy way of life, creative
experience and independence in their own healthy way of life.
So, the forming of elementary pupil’s outlook toward
a healthy way of life with the help of psychological pedagogical conditions,
methods and skills can be carried out in educational process out of school and
will solve the problems in forming an elementary pupil’s healthy way of life.
