Health in a cut of physiological education
MOBUOOSH No. 20, Russia
There
are many definitions of the concept "Health" which sense is defined
by the professional point of view. By the definition of World Health
Organization accepted in 1948: "health is a condition of physical,
spiritual and social wellbeing, and not just absence of diseases and physical
defects".
From
the physiological point of view the following formulations are defining:
-
individual health of the person - natural state of an organism against lack of
pathological shifts, optimum communication with Wednesday, coherences of all
functions.
-
health represents harmonious set of the structurally functional data of an
organism adequate to environment and providing to an organism optimum activity,
and also full labor activity;
-
individual health of the person is a harmonious unity of various exchange
processes in an organism that creates conditions for optimum activity of all
systems and subsystems of an organism.
-
health is a process of preservation and development of biological,
physiological, psychological functions, working capacity and social activity of
the person at the maximum duration of his active life.
In
general, it is possible to speak about three types of health: about health
physical, mental and moral (social).
-
Physical health is the natural state of an organism caused by normal
functioning of all its bodies and systems. If all bodies and systems, and all
human body (system well work self-regulating) correctly functions and develops.
-
Mental health depends on a condition of a brain, it is characterized by the
level and quality of thinking, development of attention and memory, degree of
emotional stability, development of strong-willed qualities.
- Moral
health is defined by those moral principles which are a basis of social human
life, i.e. lives in a certain human society. Distinctive signs of moral health of
the person are, first of all, the conscientious attitude to work, mastering
treasures of culture, active rejection of the customs and habits contradicting
a normal way of life. Physically and mentally healthy person can be moral
"freak" if he neglects norms of morals. Therefore social health is
considered the highest measure of human health.
The
healthy and spiritually developed person is happy - he perfectly feels, has
satisfaction from the work, seeks for self-improvement, reaches, thereby,
unfading youth of spirit and internal beauty.
Functional
reserves of an organism.
Integrity
of the human person is shown, first of all, in interrelation and interaction of
mental and physical forces of an organism. Harmony of psychophysical forces of
an organism raises health reserves, creates conditions for creative
self-expression in various areas of our life. The active and healthy person for
a long time keeps youth, continues creative activity, doesn't allow "to
soul to be lazy". The academician N. M. Amosov suggested to enter the new
medical term "amount of health" for designation of a measure of
reserves of an organism.
We will
tell, at the person through lungs passes 5-9 liters of air a minute in a quiet
state. Some highly trained athletes can randomly within 10-11 minutes every
minute pass through the easy 150 liters of air, i.e. with excess of norm by 30
times. It is also an organism reserve. We will take heart and we will count its
power. There are minute volumes of heart: the amount of blood in liters which is
thrown out one minute. We will assume that at rest it gives 4 liters a minute,
and at the most vigorous physical activity - 20 liters. Means, the reserve is
equal 5 (20:4). In the same way there are hidden reserves of kidneys, a liver.
They come to light by means of various load tests.
Then
from this point of view, health is a quantity of reserves in an organism, it is
the maximum productivity of bodies at preservation of qualitative limits of
their function.
The
system of functional reserves of an organism can be broken into subsystems:
1.
Biochemical reserves (reaction of an exchange).
2.
Physiological reserves (at the level of cages, bodies, systems of bodies).
3.
Mental reserves.
Health
of the person - result of difficult interaction of social, environmental and
biological factors. Health as a driving force I was and will be a reason for
long sports discussions.
