THE IDEA OF PLURALITY OF WORLDS: A VIRTUAL RENAISSANCE

The idea of plurality of worlds is inseparable from the nature of the person who needs a fictitious doubling of the world. In this sense, television and computer visualization tools help to clarify the nature of man. The need for an illusory life, when the world is revealed as an adventure, there are anthropological property [1, р. 204]. This need has been expressed in the idea of  plurality of worlds. What is behind the concept of «possible world» ? For example, A.P. Mostepanenko gives this definition: «A possible world is a maximal set of phenomena that can coexist with a combination of some form of laws of nature, a certain topology of space-time and a certain set of physical constants. Various combinations of these three factors can in principle ensure the existence of a whole range of possible worlds» [2, р. 117].

The idea of possible worlds goes back to Leibniz; he used it to justify the freedom of God in the creation of the world. God is not limited to one reality; there are many worlds, of which he is free to choose the one that is subject to updating [3].

R. Carnap also used in his research the concept of logically possible worlds. For it are logically possible worlds is the world’s which are designed for consistent laws [4]. R. Carnap in his works as postulated ontological existence of multiple worlds. He notes that each of the plurality of worlds both valid, and can, as validity and opportunity - are two additional properties of one and the same world.  Each world seems real to yourself and other worlds views as possible. That is the world in which the observer is valid for him, and all the other worlds, he estimates as possible.

Basic principles of synergetic paradigm of nonlinearity and open up new prospects for understanding the concept of reality, now it is seen not as one-dimensional and linear, and gets the definition of complex, non-linear.

The idea of multiplicity of worlds is now experiencing its second birth; it resonates with modern ideas in virtualistics. The appearance virtualistic was due to the need of special methods and approaches to the study of this complex, nonlinear reality. Virtualistics is paradigmatic approach that can be used in any scientific discipline. Virtualistics based on the recognition of multiple ontologically independent realities, coexistence of different planes of existence.

These realities are not reducible to each other, they can be built on the principle of hierarchy, or be placed independently from each other, and it does not exclude the possibility of their interaction with each other.

Virtual reality is formed as a process of interaction between man and his environment, and the events of virtual reality are formed as a result of the active dialogue of man with the surrounding world.

The user is immersed in virtual reality; it builds up inside of her. People designs, sculpts virtual reality, but creates it, not arbitrarily, not just implementing their own preferences and desires, and according to the existing laws of the design lies in its mythological consciousness [5].

Mythology is a world of prototypes and designs virtual space. Rightly observes A. F. Losev, myth is a necessary category of thought and life; and in him there is nothing accidental, unnecessary, arbitrary, imaginary, or fantastic. It is authentic and most concrete reality. Myth – not ideal concept, and also not idea and not concept. It is life itself. For the mythical entity that is genuine life, with all its hopes and fears, expectations and despair, with all its real everyday life and purely personal interest [6].

In the mythological virtual space unfulfilled events can be feigned by, real events can be represented in distorted form and transformed into the image instantly spread across the world. Thus, the new virtual reality and the formation of its special mythological space.

New information technologies are not a substitute for reality, and the person using them, creates a new virtual reality in a convenient way. When a person is immersed in virtual reality as a framework, two possibilities of its perception. In the first case, the user focuses on something logical and abstract, universal and similar. In the second case, the user is immersed in a mythological perception of the environment focuses already on something unique, concrete, and emotional-figurative. Thus, different types of worldview eventually lead to different types of structuring, constructing a virtual space, at least two projections of the world that do not overlap with each other. The reason for such multiplicity is the focus of attention placed by each user on its own. In most cases, the perception and design of virtual reality is the second, emotional-figurative type.

Based on the above, we can conclude that there is now a kind of renaissance ideas of many worlds. The complexity and diversity of being is represented as a set of virtual realities. That constructs man leaning on his mythological consciousness. As a result, we have numerous ontologically independent realities, the coexistence of the different planes of existence.
