UPBRINGING SIGNIFICANCE OF SOCIAL PEDAGOGUES’ WORKS
WITH FAMILY.
Summary. Article deals with the upbringing significance of social pedagogues’ works
with family. The same refers to the
assistance of the social pedagogue in the family upbringing and giving advices for parents. Also about principles of family upbringing.
The family has a specific role as a habitat in formation of individual. After
all, a person's attitude toward life, his relationship with other people, family
forms and ultimately develops all the properties of the human, here we can
clearly see Kazakh nations’ wise word’s weight “everything you saw in the nest
you will do when you fly". According to the pedagogical works, family is the
starting point of development of an individual person. As eminent pedagogue,
A.S. Makarenko whom was ascribed by UNESCO as one of four outstanding (on a par
with John Dewey, G. Georg Kerschensteiner and Montessori) pedagogue that
identified ways of pedagogical thinking in the ÕÕ century. We can see the
importance of family A.S Makarenko opinion - “Family is the most important and
responsible thing for a person. Family life matures and leads to happiness but
first of all every family is a matter of national importance.” [1,9]
Family upbringing is not only the
duty of parents, now days it considers teachers, psychologists, social workers,
and even the society.
"The family
upbringing – is the basis of all education. After all, since the birth of
child, family members (father, mother, brother, grandmother, etc.) devote
themselves on upbringing until the period child becomes an adult. By examples
and experience acquired over the centuries by working and social activity, they
teach child to respect, avert bad, pursue good relationship and acknowledge
environment so they could act on their own.” [2, 43].
In society, family has two services:
First, one is to leave offspring as a path behind them so did our ancestors,
second one is to ensure and developed the child by subjects, improve his spirit
and form him as socially adapted individual.
For Kazakhstan, developing culture
and civilization one of the most important type of education is - family
upbringing. Because early intimacy among youngsters, preferring cohabitation (arrangement
where two people who are not married live together) instead of legal civil
marriage , the practice of temporary marriage, orphans, the increase in the
number of single mothers, the elders, young people attacks on a single elder,
abandoned children, a large increase in social issues while statistical data is
too high. In terms of such problems, we must continue to improve to observe
strict family upbringing.
Now day’s family structure has
changed. Particularly, the number of children decreased, number of members also
has decreased. Social, cultural, economic and variety of global information
exchange returned and affected the nature of the relationship between the
family members and their impact. Because the father obedience, respecting
elders and courtesy to younger ones did not disappear among Kazakhs’ but became
week. In most cases, the responsibility of fatherhood got weak on the other
hand women are taking more responsibility for their families. Another feature
of modernity is not growing families, parents, family with-in-laws, family ties
got weak. Family relations derived from the lack of correct upbringing,
correction of errors is primary requirement of today's society.
One of the social teaching service
in education system is to work in the field of family. Social pedagogue while
working with family "individual-family-society" system regulates
mutual relations. Analyzes the condition of the family upbringing of the
students, low-income and organizes help low-income families of the child to
prevent fluctuations in the development of the correction work. We can say that
teachers’ have a special role in education and upbringing of the student. After
all cooperated work of class teacher and parents gives a perfect result and
opportunities for future right individual person.
The child's intellectual, creative,
social basis formed. "The main focus of social pedagogue - is to children,
adolescents, social protect, social and medical assistance to help him, help
organize training, school, family, social adaptation and rehabilitation. To
solve these challenges, the social pedagogue explores the emotional and
psychological status and financial situation of the child, determines how deep
the crisis is, and plans ways to overcome it. It is hard to support child in
difficult situations. First of all, support spiritually, convince him that all
the changes will bring something better in his life; then help the child to
find a ways to outcome the crisis situation, to make a decision, it must be carried
out in sequence"[3.5].
Today, the most important question
is - problematic increase in the number of families and the weakening of the
upbringing mission of the family. Therefore, the school must help family to
improve child upbringing. In this regard, a social pedagogue activity takes
place in two directions: educate and assistance upbringing. To assist parents
in upbringing and forming pedagogical culture of parents and aimed to prevent
family issues. First social pedagogue
assists parental counseling, as well as the creation of special educational
conditions for children to help their family issues in a timely manner. The
establishment of special conditions for upbringing children, social pedagogue
can create basic plan for family upbringing.
As a social pedagogue, here are the
principles of family upbringing:

Show a growing child charity and kindness.

Involve child into family life, consider as an advisor.

Establish trusted relationships with child.

Regulate claim requirements.

Prevent physical punishments.
Social
pedagogue works cooperated with the parents on family
upbringing. Social pedagogue acts cooperated with the family, can be organized
as follows:

In raising their
children and school, students do research on families to determine families’
ethno pedagogical opportunities.

Related to
family and moral upbringing of the child, depending on the capabilities divide
families into groups;

Make cooperation
action program of social pedagogue and parents.

Analyze the current and final results’ of
cooperated upbringing activities.

Research analyze of family pictures social
pedagogue child’s life structures, spiritual values, traditions helps to
understand relationship between parents and student.
Social
pedagogue in upbringing of the child cooperates with parents ensures control and
manages family upbringing and creates conditions for good family relationship. Protects the rights of the child, and creates
conditions for formation of an individual. In order to enhance the views of
parents on upbringing does enlightenment activities. Social pedagogue while
working with a child can help determine the status of the child based on family
values. To determine the status of the child's does test survey, interviews and
analysis documents of the child. By these actions, social pedagogue helps
pupils to define the role of the family and place in society. It becomes much
easier when child realizes the relationship importance of his role in the
family. As well as social pedagogue influence on family upbringing are able to
carry on their enlightenment duty. This duty is to recommends parents ways to develop
the role of upbringing. For social pedagogue use of spare time is important.
Together with their parents, can lead to many interesting works out of school.
Students' outside the classroom activities are also allocate with social pedagogue.
Social
pedagogue’s play in the upbringing of the younger generation has many duties.
They can be advisors, teacher, educator, and distributor may serve as a
Methodist. Highly skilled professional social pedagogue can educate child
corresponding to modern society needs and increase responsibility of the person
to carry out their task and duty for their country, their language, and help to
find his passion, respect elder people and take care of younger ones also to
love and care nature.
In
conclusion, to be able to obtain certain results working with the family social
pedagogue’s professionalism, teaching skills should be at a high level. Because
during social work with the family social pedagogue to solve the issue of the
child's personality, create comfortable environment, specialist is the person
whom creates relationship bridges between social environment and child.
