Application of information technology
in the
educational process of school
Information Technology is
actively part of the lives of the modern school. Without the use of a wide
range of new technologies today is unthinkable educational process. This
pedagogical reality due to social trends in the use of information resource as
social product in the functioning of the global information network to provide
access to information without any significant restrictions on the volume and
speed of its transmission. In the generally accepted definition of information
technology represent a generalized concept technologies using of tools and
methods for collecting, storing, protecting, processing, transmitting and
reproducing information using media tools. Information technology - a
combination of knowledge about the ways and means to work with information
resources, and the method of collection, processing and transmission of
information to obtain new information about the object being studied. Analysis
of the research showed that information technology characterized by an environment
where they are used, and components that this environment includes: technical
environment, software environment, subject environment, technological
environment. In other words, modern information technologies are considered
reality that new way of transferring knowledge, which corresponds to a
qualitatively new content development and training of participants in training
- educational process helps increase the effectiveness of training and
education of schoolchildren, their intellectual level, facilitates the solution
of professional teachers pedagogical tasks to reduce the time to search for teaching
and learning materials for lessons, additional literature and information,
training classroom board, etc.
Information technology helps each participant training - educational process to
maximize reveal their creativity and become more successful in school and work,
to expand the boundaries of the world.
The main educational value of information technologies is that they "allow
you to create infinitely more vivid multisensory interactive learning
environment with almost unlimited potential opportunities, and is at the
disposal of the teacher and student. Unlike conventional technical means of
education information technology can not only satiate the student lots of
knowledge, but also to develop the intellectual, creative abilities of
students, their ability to independently acquire new knowledge, work with
various sources of information"[1].
How do you use these
capabilities of information technology in teaching - educational process of the
school? First of all, requires deliberate interrelated activities of the entire
school community (administration, teachers, psychologists, medical
professionals, etc.) and parents focused on the optimal use of information support
educational process.
Analyzing the process of
introducing information technologies in school management, N.E. Tselishev [1]
talks about the possibilities of using Microsoft Office for processing orders
and maintaining school records, school administration software application of
the background, creation of workstations school administration staff, formation
of information and teaching space, etc.
In the publications of other authors on the use of information technology in
the school practice reported that related activities of the team ensured the
construction of optimal school curriculum, the creation of models of electronic
textbooks, teaching materials, teaching and conducting intraschool
psychological monitoring, monitoring of health and physical development of
students, the prediction of learning outcomes students and others.
It is encouraging that in recent
years, many schools in the region are being implemented in educational process
electronic classroom magazines and electronic diaries students, allowing
teachers' staff: effectively solve administrative tasks to monitor educational
process, to establish operational communication between all the parties.
Objective picture of student achievement in school
transparently provides electronic diary students. It forms a single information
space between school and family, which significantly affects the motivation of
students to study and, as a consequence, improves the quality of education.
Moreover, a student's parents become full participants in the educational
process, getting online information about the diary of life in the school. And
also opportunity: to monitor progress and attendance of children in a mode
online; communicate with teachers, receive messages from teachers about events
in the school and classroom, to exchange messages in a timely manner to see exhibited
child assessment and draw conclusions. Thus, in the face of school teachers,
classroom teachers and the administration are able to timely inform the parents
about the child's learning outcomes, as well as to manage the education
process. Penetration of information technology in teaching - educational
process school student develops the person, involves the development of
motivation for different activities; communication skills, the formation of
information culture; skills independent research, analysis, processing and
evaluation of information, conducting experimental research, modeling tasks or
situations select the best options to resolve them.

In the educational system of
school information technology is used in the organization of extra-curricular
activities, school-wide events and concerts, library lessons, classroom hours,
creative games, project activities, establishing contacts students and teachers
in online communicating with peers and colleagues from other schools and
regions.
In conclusion: the
use of information technology has become evident dynamics of quality of
students' knowledge, increasing the motivation of educational activity. When
using information technology in teaching - educational process of the school
must strive to realize all the potential students' personality: cognitive,
moral, creative, communicative and aesthetic. To these potentials have been
implemented at a high level, requires professional competence of teachers in
the use of information technology, learning best educational experience, visit
refresher courses. Application of information technology improves all kinds of
cognitive motives students: interest in knowledge and methods of getting to the
content and process of teaching.
