Climatic features of the Kostanay region and the content of iodine in sterns of studied areas, as a factor of emergence of iodic insufficiency

Many researchers revealed and described the main regularities of distribution, migration and accumulation of chemical elements in biological objects. However similar results on the content of iodine in biogeocenoses of the Kostanay region in experimental areas in available literature it isn't revealed.

It is known that one of the main causes of infringement of iodic balance in environment are soil and climatic features, climatic conditions.

On set of climatic features and a soil cover all territory of area is divided into three climatic zones as a whole coinciding with zone distribution of soils. The first climatic zone – moderately droughty steppe and forest-steppe, unites in itself the Uzunkolsky, Fedorovsky, Karabalyksky, Mendykarinsky and Sarykolsky Areas of Kostanay regions. The soil cover of a zone is presented by chernozems ordinary. The second – droughty steppe, includes Kostanaysky, Altynsarinsky, Denisovsky, Karasusky, Taranovsky and Zhitikarinsky areas. The soil cover is presented by the southern chernozems.

The third climatic zone – mildly dry steppe, is subdivided into two subzones. The first unites the territory located on dark-chestnut soils where Auliyekolsky, Kamystinsky and Naurzumsky areas enter. The second subzone – dry steppe, it includes the areas located on chestnut soils – the Arkalyksky area of the district of Amangeldinsky and Zhangeldinsky areas.

For the analysis of climatic conditions it was chosen from each zone for some areas: from the first zone - Uzunkolsky, Fedorovsky, Karabalyksky, from the second zone - Altynsarinsky, Karasusky, from the third zone – the Auyelikolsky area.

In the Uzunkolsky area investigated the Kirov rural district, the Fedorovsky area – the Peshkovsky rural district, the Karabalyksky area - Ak-Biday-Agro LLP, in the Altynsarinsky area - Belyaevka LLP, the Karasusky area – Karaman LLP, the Auyelikolsky area - the Kazanbasky rural district.

From the carried-out analysis follows that the territory of pilot farms is characterized by a number of the factors promoting development of iodic insufficiency. It is promoted by a district favor in the depth of the continent, soils of the studied territory are characterized by easy mechanical structure, the low maintenance of a humus, high concentration of calcium and magnesium which in turn are antagonists of iodine and at intensive heating and moistening doesn't promote accumulation of a microcell in it.

It should be noted that researches of the quantitative content of iodine in soils, water, economy sterns were conducted. Tests were selected in the summer of 2011. In total 6 samples of the soils taken on various sites, 3 tests of water from the rivers Ubagan, Tobol, Terekta, farms proceeding in the territory were investigated.

Research of water and forages on the content of iodine carried out the accelerated option of a kinetic rodanidno-nitritny method to G.F.Proskuryakova's modifications (1973). Tests of forages and water selected in experimental areas then sent them to RGP "Republican Veterinary Laboratory" of ofKostanaya and Astana.

The received results are presented in table 1 from which follows that the lack of iodine with insignificant fluctuations of its indicators is noted in all its objects.

From the received results it is necessary to draw a conclusion that the content of iodine in biological objects low, so, in the conditions of iodic insufficiency in the Kostanay region, the system of early diagnostics by the IFA method is expedient, and preventive actions with use of potassium éîäèò and zeolite are effective.
