The present and future of our country in the hands of the rising
generation. And the only way to make this generation all-round, knowledgeable,
economically literate, intellectual and striving for self-knowledge is through
educating youth creativity and leading them to success. For the reason that
only creative teacher can form a creative person it requires a deep knowledge
and ability of a teacher.
Today we need the professionals that can keep pace with the rapid
development of society: competitive, enthusiastic, relevant-thinking persons,
who are able to raise the economy with enough methodological and scientific
knowledge and skills, who have mastered pedagogical and psychological sciences.
Because, educational process requires a good training in the term of
preparation and quality of teaching. It gives a teacher self-development,
self-education, and self creativity at his or her position. Teacher is the
person who train, educate, bring up today’s student, tomorrow’s society’s and state’s
partial.
The fundamental of economic
education lies in labor education. To develop a student’s need for labor
making, diligence, activity in social labor, conscious labor discipline and
other ethical qualities are the fundamentals of economic education. By giving
economic education we will empower students with economic knowledge, explain
the society’s economic policy, basic economical relations in practice as well
as economic industry, exchange, division and consumption. According to foreign
scientists economical education should consider the gender, age and ethnical
and cultural diversity and should start
from the first year of a school and continue until the graduation.
In Hungary, Czech Republic, Bulgaria
and Germany children begin working from early ages. They work on private farms
which are the loans of the state. These farms are rich, but lack of labor
force. By working on these kinds of farms students get accustomed to work from
early ages, they are aware of economics of work, they learn to organize work so
that it would profit and would not bring expenses. If the students work in
another place than private farms they earn salary. By allocating the salary
themselves, they learn to plan incomes and expenses as well as reconcile the
needs with possibilities. Moreover, teaching students to work from early ages
affects rightly to develop in learners skills that defines them as individuals
who profit family’s and state’s economy. In many states’ socio-economic
politics everyone pays a lot of interest in the final result of their work. The
main thing here is to combine the interests of the society with the interests
of people, and not putting them against each other. It is believed that if each
citizen becomes wealthy the national economy also grows rich.
Economic education is intended to teach students need
for the labor, hard-working attitude, public labor activity in order to
establish a reasonable work schedule and other moral qualities in students. The
ultimate goal of economic education for students is awareness of the economic
policy of the society, to experience basic notions as production, exchange,
distribution and consumption within the framework of economic relations.
Since the development of the
economy and culture closely related to the well-being of the population we need
to create a new step forward in economic education for young generation.
However, economic education cannot form the people’s accuracy, efficiency, and
stability to social wealth by itself. Such qualities can sometimes seem selfish
and consumer nature. Until now we have been teaching students to be not a
producer of material wealth, but only to be a user. As a result, they have
accumulated a lot of time and expenses and have just been learning for material
cutting, drilling and repair. For instance, students decided to create a box.
They have no idea how much loss and profit cause to create a material, they do
not calculate how much strength, electricity, labor and equipment was used to
make it. Economic education of the child in the family, including school, will
teach student’s to determine the income and profit, to organize labor
effectively, to regulate quality outlook, to shape the correct understanding of
labor and employment. It’s significant that adults explain to young generation
to consume earnings correctly, to teach exchange, production, sale,
distribution and the successful utilization of public consumption to the
benefit of the members of the family, to explain the students how the income is
earned and spent to the survival of the family.
Students should be aware of the following concepts at studying economic
education: national income, finance, salary, labor, profit, cost-effectiveness,
cost, shares, business, market, etc.
One of the main issues in economic education is money. This issue is
resolved in the family, the school has only indirect access to it. A.S. Makarenko says: "The person who stepped
into the adult life should have an own experience in financial resources and
should know how to spend the money ".
At this time in the conditions of new socio-economic, socio-political
changes every citizen of the country, especially the youth, should not lag behind
the life development and must always remember its domestic debt.
Of course, this is a very responsible job. Therefore, to search for ways
to improve the management and rational use of the market economy, giving education
and training students are one of the most pressing issues of the teaching staff
of the school
Economic education and education requirements in schools are the
followings:
- to introduce students the economic laws of the society;
- to explain concepts “market”, “private enterprise”, “money”, etc.;
- to develop in students good business qualities;
- to improve the workability as much as possible;
-to teach students calculating and selection;
-to train them to the basis of economic education.
The theory of economic knowledge explains the material basis of society.
It allows being familiar with the secrets of human society, to understand the
objective basics of recreating society. The main objective of the economic
education is to shape a right understanding of society’s economic culture and thinking
in accordance with the current stage and to raise such qualities as
responsibility, punctuality, organizational and business skills, discipline and
austerity.
Conclusion
The changes that are taking place in our country's
socio-political and economic reforms demand changes in the education methods and
system. Education should consider each person’s understanding of the new market
relations, life and must act in accordance with the changes and conditions of
modern life.
The growth of market relations should increase in the level of economic
literacy in all spheres of life.
Economic
education is the complex phenomenon which covers all sectors of social
production. With the scientific and technical progress grows a challenge between
all sectors of industry and public relations. According to the Constitution of
Kazakhstan Republic we are creating a social market economy on the basis of
this challenge. This is, first of all, is intended to routing issues of
country's political and social interests of the people such as sovereignty,
property, ownership of resources and production sectors of the national wealth
of the country.
