Great Kazakh Enlighteners’ View on Problems of Teacher’s
Speech Culture
Enlightening in
music education is considered as vocation of the teacher, his way to
self-realization, system of the teacher’s functioning for the reason of joining
them to achievements of the artistic culture - a product, forming "golden
fund" of world music art; the forms its
being, cultural interpretation as specific relations to the world and
person determined by concrete social
and cultural situation; the history perception of the music as natural
phenomena.
It is impossible
to provide the further development of education of the young generation as one can understand and evaluate the
history of enlighteners’ activity only
having comprehended the whole history
passed by the country its contradictions and difficulties. Carefully saving all
the best, representatives of domestic
nobility have enriched enlightening
with new contents having accelerated the process of the cultural
transformations in the republic to a
considerable extent.
It is well known
that the Kazakh folk, a legal successor of the Turkic culture, has developed a
rich fiction and amazing traditions. First of all, this pertains to verbal
culture and artistic word as the main art as "language is the most important of the all art". The Kazakh public orators Maiki bi, Ayaz bi,
Asankaygy, Zhirenshe sheshen, Buhar zhyrau and others used to take beautiful
expressions not from books but from folklore source, public dictums, proverbs
and sayings, aphorisms, as well as edifications, differing with accuracy and
poetical image.
History has defined the pleiades of
enlighteners who were and are being written about by different researchers.
They have been revealing their value in
different areas of the scientific knowledge, education, culture and art and
etc., having brought forth on foreground
such figures as Al-Farabi, I.Altynsarin, A.Kunanbaev, A.Baytursinov,
Ch.Ualihanov, M.Zhumabaev, Zh. Aymautov and others who had contributed weighty
contribution to the development of the artistic culture to personality.
One of the
founders of progressive pedagogical thought of the medieval East,
worldwide-history personality, star of the first value, managed to give the syntheses of the
knowledge of its epoch, authentic encyclopedia of his time, Al-Farabi added emphases
a science, as necessary facility of acquisition and accumulations of the
knowledge, but mastering they considered the factor of education level. The
scientist paid attention to education, particularly to spiritual and moral
education thinking that only teacher is capable to develop it and only that who
can connect in himself twelve innate and six gained qualities, particularly
pointing out iron logic, phenomenal memory, quip keenness of observation and
brilliant speech.
I.Altynsarin, another outstanding organizer,
talented teacher, a well- known writer and enlightener, a big public figure ,
tried to develop education being sure of inexhaustible power and abilities of his people. He was sure that
"everybody’s duty is to his best
to make his best qualities be shown". The pedagogical teaching of
the thinker was directed at enlightening of his people, to introduce them to
the base of modern leading scientific
knowledge. Pointing out the importance of schools in moral education of the
younger generation I.Altynsarin paid attention to teacher-training process for
Kazakh schools, giving explanations on using of different methods including conversations, mental and written
exercises and etc.
A.Kunanbaev, a
well-known poet, an enlightener,a youth mentor, a teacher, a singer and a
composer , who promoted spiritual rebirth of his people. He could not imagine
many- sided education of the younger generation without the possibility to
distinguish real beauty, truly human, high moral, free from the whole shallow,
loathsome, ignorant, reactionary in life and in relations between people".
Thereby, process of the cognition of the music is two-sided , being accompanied
by changes of the learning person
himself, where voluptuous is the first and followed by the rational moment.
He taught to pertain with deep respect to homilies,
wise edifications. "Do not judge a word by a person, judge a person by his
words ", he said.
According to Abai it is necessary to have a hot heart
and acute mind to deeply understand the poetry.
We can state that Abai is great, because
he managed to combine the forms and contents of harmony in poetry, prose,
translations and music, comparing oratory art with countless “plays of peacock feathers’ colours”, calling it
“pearl” for those who is able to realize this art thouroughly.
Defining the place
of the figurative expressions and emphasizing their cognitive importance, the
enlightener wrote:
"Poetry – is the master of the language,
From
stone prodigy hews the genius.
Becomes
warm the heart if speech is light,
And
rumor fondles the beauty of the comparisons ".
Creative activity
of the thinker Sh.Kudayberdiuly,is a kind of
"spiritual bridge", connecting the 19th and 20th
centuries and connecting ideas of a scientist Chokan, teacher Ibrai, humanist
Abai with searchings of a poet S.Seyfullin, a writer M.Auezov and others.
According to him, "mentors are saint people, who live according to moral
rules, directing youth at the way of serving their Motherland; a teacher is the one who has a clever heart and good
wit". Sh.Kudaiberdyuly considered
that "teacher must carefully to keep a check on its speech, his behavior,
match his own requirements, encourage any independence in his thoughts and his
actions".
From his side, a
great scientist and enlightener- democrat Ch.Ualikhanov making immeasurable
contributions to music science of Kazakhstan, emphasized the aptitude of the
Kazakh nation to poetical art, stating that the people’s creative potential is
shown in poetry and music developing on base of the folklore. Due to this the
Kazakh arts is rich in forms and types.
Summing up the above mentioned we again return to the idea of the
importance of great Kazakh enlighteners’ creative activity, who had left priceless
heritage to future generations. Enlightening ideas noted in the works of the
well-known.
The teacher’s
labour is constant searching for of the optimum decisions of the pedagogical
problems, experimental laboratory, requiring manifestations of volitional
effort and hard nature, pedagogical abilities and skill.
Remembering about
importance of "thought is made in speech", it is necessary for
teacher to work at increasing
professionalism quality, eruditions in miscellaneous sphere art, literature,
for good since, expressive, convincing speech necessary profound knowledge
subject.
