MODERN METHODS OF PROFESSIONAL HYGIENE

Regular visits to the dentist, prompt treatment, training individual hygiene and regular preventive measures of childhood largely determine the health of the child in the future. [7]. The main components of the abrasive powder PROPHYpearls (KaVo Gmbh) is calcium carbonate, the particles of which are spherical shape with a grain size of 60-70 microns, which relate to the tooth surface and, due to the porous structure, absorb the residue in them, creating a snowball effect by removing plaque on a large area and do not require additional polishing [10]. For removing subgingival plaque and removal of dental plaque from the surface of the implant firm KaVo offers professional abrasive powder PROPHYflexPerio. A distinctive feature of this powder is the use of pellets of the glycine with a size of 18-22 microns, which have no abrasive effect on the cement of the tooth root and implant surfaces.
