Development
of reading skills
at the
Russian language classes
A role of teacher is in the modern
educating to Russian of students of technical specialities to bind educational
activity to future professional activity of students. It is thus necessary to
take into account the personal interests of students. Therefore it is very
important for a teacher to form the internal stimuli of cognitive activity for
students.
Certain aims and tasks stand before
students, when they read scientific texts. And these tasks need to be decided
taking into account functions that is executed by reading as type of speech
activity: to read, that gentlefolks (cognitive function); to read, able (regulative
function); to read, to get emotional pleasure (aesthetic function).
If the task of lesson is related to
the receipt of new knowledge, then reading will be realized in a cognitive
function. Consequently tasks for students will be directed to on a search new
information and her comprehension. In the process of implementation of such
tasks students join in the rich in content and semantic search of new
knowledge. It provides purposeful character of reading. The decision of tasks
of such character requires the use of receptions of the studying and
acquainting reading.
If an educational task is related to
making of certain abilities and skills, then realized in a regulative function.
Tasks for students will be sent to educating to the rules, on a capture making
decision of educational tasks. In the process of implementation of such tasks
students study to operate under a model on the basis of reading and
comprehension of texts of instructional character. In this case a student uses
the receptions of the acquainting reading.
In the process of decision of
educational tasks on the lessons of Russian it is needed to influence and on
the emotional sphere of students, to show beauty and expressiveness of Russian
to them. Fiction is studied to that end, the features of language means of
artistic speech are analysed. The aesthetic function of reading will be
realized here. Reading is accompanied by such tasks: to read a pleasing
fragment, express the attitude toward read, to explain sense of expression et
cetera.
The well set forth
task determines the choice of type of reading. It is therefore needed to
conduct preliminary work that will help to capture the different receptions of
reading.
The receptions of the studying reading
need to the students at mastering of texts facts and phenomena are explained in
that, determinations of concepts are given, the characteristic signs of the
phenomena are enumerated, rules are expounded and others like that. Such texts
a volume enough, they contain difficult material, and their reading requires
from the students of active cogitative activity. Students must not simply
pronounce text, but also to understand the semantic structure of text on the
whole, means to use the receptions of the studying reading. Students must learn
or they must be taught to the receptions of comprehension and analysis of text.
It will help them deeply to understand maintenance of text. A good method of
verification of understanding read is raising of questions after reading of
text.
For a capture it is needed to teach
students acquainting read skills quickly to distinguish main and second-rate in
text, to see keywords that carry basic information of text. These abilities can
be set forth in the process of implementation of the special exercises. For
example, to expound maintenance of indention, text is short; to read suggestion
the main idea of indention is shown in that, et cetera.
Look through reading skills will be
realized in-process with popular scientific texts. Tasks to such exercises
envisage determination of theme of expression, his stylistic belonging,
selection of basic parts.
Perfection of read skills as one of
types of speech activity of man will assist forming for the students of
important abilities is ability to work with a book, independently to get
knowledge in the process of educating, oriented in texts at reading, at
preparation to the performance et cetera. Educating to the correct, literate
reading of texts provides development of all types of speech activity in unity.
