Comparative evaluation of the
reproductive qualities of the breed obrak under LLP "Konyspay-Agro"
Currently,
development of specialized cattle-breeding meat recognized as the strategic
direction in elimination of defecit of meat products.
Obrak breed is well adapted to extensive
production. Animals are characterized by high endurance during traveling long
distances, and ability to absorb large amounts of roughage, which is very
important in extensive livestock farming [1,2].
When transporting animals to new
climatic conditions, primarily, these effects impact on their reproductive
functions. Therefore, the study of the reproductive abilities of animals is one
of the main indicators of the suitability of the organism to new environmental
conditions. Scientific and economic
experience was held in LLP "Konyspay-Agro" Kamysty, Kostanay region. The object of the
study were repairing heifers of the French Aubrac breed, âûðàùåííûå grown under free-range..
In the process of scientific and economic experiment were used materials
and zootechnical breeding farm accounting. For an objective evaluation of the
results of research, the animals were kept in the same conditions and feeding.
To study the adaptation processes, by contain them with free-range
technology, we have formed three groups of 12 animals each. The first group (I)
includes a heifer line Kruse, second (II) - heifers line Komeden, in the third
(III) - Diamond line heifers aged 15 months.
Heifers were kept in open areas close to the livestock complex with a free exit from
the premises.
One of indicator of the intensity of the growth
and development of animals is their live weight. We have analyzed the dynamics
of the live weight of heifers French Aubrac breed, from 15 to 18 months with
free-range in the stall period.

Animals of 3rd group absolute live weight was more than the animals of
1st group at 10.4 kg or 8.4%, and allowed 2d group- 5.7 kg or 4.6%.
Compared to the breed standard at the
end of repair experience heifer the 3d group at 18 months had excess body
weight by 3.1%.
Mating animals was a natural and took place in the
period from April to June, in order to obtain the winter and early spring calving.
Before mating heifers had a good nutritional state and the characteristic of
the breed live weight. During the day, bulls were in the pasture with the herd
at night separated from their common edge and housed in individual pens where
they are fed concentrates. Load on one bull was 20 - 25 uterus. To take into
account the origin of the offspring, led control the mating of animals,
by records of individual numbers of male and female in the journal of mating.
Animals of
studied groups in the new environmental
conditions showed different
reproductive quality(The 2d table).

Experimental groups' age at first insemination was highest, it is
connected with the fact that French cattle differs late maturation, that is
why mating of these heifers was allowed
at a later age. Because of this, they
had a large mass in the first insemination. By Kruze heifers it was 475,4
kg, with a lag of their peers the Komeden line 21,1 kg (4,3 %, Ð>0,99). Heifers
of the line Diamant in the first insemination, mating allowed in at a
later time and the difference in body weight with 1st and 2d groups amounted — 39,7 kg (7,7 %, Ð>0,99) and 3,6 kg (30,9 %, Ð>0,999).
