The state of use for modern means, forms and methods of study in a process of the professional training of specialists of the pharmaceutical branch in Ukraine

Universal goals are arising before the modern professional training of specialists of the pharmaceutical branch in Ukraine: to reach a new level of quality of the European education and to assure its competiveness on the world market, while reforming it based on democratization, openness, continuity, mobility, while reserving at the same time authenticity of the national education. Modernization of the higher pharmaceutical education in Ukraine is inseparably connected with a development of the whole society, as characteristic features of which is at present stage a renewal of structure and content of the education, of a successive implementation of training’s technologies. A training of the specialists-pharmacists, which do correspond to the up-to-date requirements, determines a continuous improvement of curricula and a teaching process.

The professional training of specialists of the pharmaceutical branch at the higher medical (pharmaceutical) educational institutions is being provided through an educational complex, which included a qualified professor & teacher staff, a modern material base, a proper methodological support and a meaningful teaching literature: textbooks, study guides, practical works etc [3, р. 16 - 18]. One of the main means of training was and remained textbooks. So, as an example, in accordance with the main blocks of binding disciplines of the curriculum for a professional training of pharmacists for the pharmaceutical branch in Ukraine in the period of 2000 – 2014 have been published textbooks, namely:

1) in the disciplines of natural-scientific (fundamental):

- in 2000 «Organic Chemistry» by professors Chernykh V.P., Hrytsenko I.S., Zimenkovskyi B.S. [1];

- in 2003 «General and Inorganic Chemistry» edited by assistant professor Lievitina YE.YA.;

- in 2005 «Medical and Biological Physics» edited by professor Chalyi O.V. (Bogomolets National Medical University);

- in 2007 «Medical Biology. Study-Guide for Practical Lessons» edited by professor Romanenko O.V (Bogomolets National Medical University);

- in 2007 «Pharmaceutical Botany» edited by Sira L.M. [1];

- in 2008 published a monograph «Pharmaceutical Information Science» by authors Parnovskyi B.L., Slabyi M.V., Zaliska O.M and others. [1];

- in 2011 «General and Inorganic Chemistry» by authors Iemelianov V.B., Kalibabchuk V.O. and others (Bogomolets National Medical University);

- in 2012 published a study-guide «Analytical Chemistry. Practical Work» by authors Reva T.D., Slipchuk V.L, Hozhdzinskyi S.M. and others. (Bogomolets National Medical University);

- in 2012 «Analytical Chemistry» by authors Fedushchak N.K., Bidnychenko YU.I., Hozhdzinskyi S.M., Novikov V.P. and others.;

2) in the disciplines of the general-professional training:

- in 2000 the first native textbook «Pharmacognosy with Biochemistry Plants Basis» by authors Kovaliov V.P., Pavlyi O.I., Isakova T.I.;

- in 2001 «Pharmacology» edited by corresponding member of NAN (National Academy of Sciences and NAMN (National Academy of Medical Sciences) of Ukraine Chekman I.S. (Bogomolets National Medical University);

- in 2002 «Pharmaceutical Chemistry» edited by Bezuhlyi P.O.;

- in 2003 «Technology of Industrial Production Drugs» edited by professor Chuieshov V.I.;

- in 2004 «Management in Pharmacy» by authors Hromovyk B.P., Hasiuk H.D., Levytska O.R. and others.;

- in 2008 «Management and Marketing in Pharmacy» by authors Hasiuk H.D., Levytska O.R., Hromovyk B.P. [1];

- in 2009 «Organization and Economics of Chemistry» edited by professor Hromovyk B.P. and associate professor Tereshchuk S.I. (the first textbook in this discipline at the time of Independence of Ukraine [4];

- in 2012 «Toxicological Chemistry» by authors Nizhenkovska I.V., Velchynska O.V., Kucher M.M. (Bogomolets National Medical University);

- in 2011 a study guide «Pharmaceutical Chemistry. Analysis of Medicinal Plants according to Functional Groups» by authors Tsurkan O.O., Nizhenkovska I.V., Hlushachenko O.O. (Bogomolets National Medical University).

Owning to action of the whole complex of factors essential changes took place there in XXІ century in the attitude of the state and of a separate person to the health as to the highest social category. Under the present terms a necessity arose with respect to a reconsideration of content and form of organization of the professional training of pharmacists for the pharmaceutical branch of Ukraine. An effective introduction of the newest forms and methods of the professional training of specialists of the pharmaceutical branch of Ukraine does promote to more effective pharmaceutical assistance. For working out of the practical skills in a discipline «The Before-Doctor First Aid» the future pharmacists can themselves practice on the phantoms, moulages and simulators according to the international norms and requirements. In particular, students of the pharmaceutical faculty of the National O.O. Bohomolets Medical University are working out reanimation measures, performing cardio-pulmonary reanimation, a temporary arrest of bleeding – homeostasis, skills of diagnostics and other skills on 87 kinds of phantoms, moulages and simulators of different destination. For training of the students to the basis of the military surgery under the complicated social & political conditions of today are being used moulages of wounds, burns and arming injuries (gunshot trauma) [2].

Thus, the professional training of specialists of the pharmaceutical branch in ХХІ century has remained tendencies of a practical direction, reserved principles of succession and continuity of teaching programs for professional training of the specialists of the pharmaceutical branch. A considerable attention is being paid to improvement of the professional-practical training of the future specialists of the pharmaceutical branch, modernization of the meaningful filling of the professional training of the specialists of higher qualification, of extension of the demonstrative means and development of a material basis for the professional training of specialists of the pharmaceutical branch in Ukraine.
