Advanced Methods of assessing students

Four-point rating system in the exam existing at the university and suitable approach to it is not taken into account with the quality and effectiveness of different types of student work throughout the semester. Practice shows that the accumulation of knowledge by students is uneven, so knowledge obtained during tests or examinations is not strong and deep. Thus, the rating system of knowledge involves continuous monitoring for the duration of the study subjects. The system allows the teacher to find an individual approach to each student. Now the teacher must find ways to evaluate the performance of all students group, whereas not all students respond actively in the classroom.

Students and teachers need continuous cooperation throughout the educational process, which has a positive effect on the development of their personal qualities. Rating is not only a tool for evaluating performance, but also a kind of tool of educational work. The teacher can also be more creative in his approach to the creation and implementation of teaching methods, as method of rating systems are much less regulated over. It is necessary for a successful rating control to rely on developed at the university regulations on the rating system of assessing students and teacher guidelines. Document defining the work of teachers and students in the semester, is a top plan that provides detailed educational and methodological information on discipline in accordance with the schedule of classes [1].

So developing the rating system evaluation of training activities for the course "Water supply and sanitation with the basics of hydraulics," considered six parameters: presence on the lectures; lecture notes, synopsis and protection of laboratory work, case studies, oral response and intellectual activity in the classroom; execution of the test assignment; independent work in the form of abstract or summary, table 1 damper motor is one possible rating training activities, in gradebook mark exhibited by traditional 4-point scale or record "credited".

Types of monitoring and maximum number of points earned on each as a control for whatever discipline is determined by their respective departments or leading a class teacher (with the necessary approval of the department).

For example, the student passes and protects the early work (as shown in Table. 1) on the maximum number of points - 10 (Table. 2).

If the student during the semester did not receive the minimum number of points (30), it is considered to be underachieving and not allowed for the exam in the discipline during the examination session, as the teacher informs the dean. He is given the opportunity to pass boundary control (examination) after the end of the session during mulligans. To ensure the objectivity of the evaluation results of performance it is necessary to provide students with all kinds of educational and methodical literature, reporting and create equality of initial conditions [2].
