INNOVATIVE  TECHNOLOGY OF TEACHING PHYSICAL

 EDUCATION IN UNIVERSITIES

Nowadays the topic of innovations in pedagogical activity of teachers in physical training is very relevant. Unfortunately, there is an increasing number of students every year, who are exempted from physical education. Also, the majority of students are not interested in this subject. Therefore, it is becoming increasingly important for teachers to introduce new methods of conducting the class, different kinds of assessments that would awake the interest of students.

So, we are  trying to apply the next  innovative technologies to achieve this on physical education classes:

1) An important place in our work is that we try to take the health-saving technologies, the aim of which is to provide the student with the opportunity to maintain health during the period of study at the university, to form the necessary knowledge for them and skills for a healthy lifestyle, to teach them to use this knowledge in everyday life.

Health-saving technologies which used on our classes:

a) Alternating activities. One of the ways to improve the efficiency of training is the variety of forms of organization studies, the alternation of mental and physical activity of students.

b) Favorable friendly atmosphere on lessons. Occupation should be developing and interesting. We pay attention to the physical and psychological conditions of students, seeing how they perceive the task of the teacher, and how they estimate his work. The qualifications and notes are provided only in a friendly manner.

c) Dosage of tasks. The main thing during exercises is to avoid from students' overworking.

g) An individual approach to each student. Students are very different, but teacher must make his own classes interesting. Therefore, we propose to create successful situation for each student.

e) Outdoor activities. It is well-known that the current freshmen are very susceptible to colds, so one of our goals is to increase the stability of a young body against such diseases. An effective remedy against colds is hardening of the body. We rely on the natural hardening factors. Outdoor activities include cross-country running, football.

e) Educational focus of the lesson. Educational effect of physical exercise is achieved by the expense of possibilities individually-differentiated approach to the development of the qualities of each student, and by formation of the valuable relation to their health.

On our classes we provide:

- strict dosage of exercises to the physical development of all students, their group health;

- strict temperature control, ventilation facilities;

- checking and monitoring of sports equipment and inventory, their timely repair and keeping them clean;

- control of wearing sportswear;

- the usage of specific exercises for prevention and correction of posture, eyes, the usage of breathing exercises.

2) In our work we try to pay more attention on the development of practical skills that needed in different physical situations, also, to conscious and active attitude of pupils to physical training, to explain the importance of regular and systematic physical exercises. To achieve the efficiency of lesson, we focus on a personal approach to each student to create a situation in which the student is focused on creativity and self-determination.

Student-centered learning technology helps in creating a creative atmosphere on the lesson, as well as creating the necessary conditions for the development of the individual abilities of students [1].

In order to enhance students' thinking and the formation of interest in physical education, we use problem-based learning. To develop students' objective assessment of their achievements and the formation of self-responsibility, we use technology where students define their own level according to the executed task, or the learned topic.  While self-assessment of the students ,we focus on the analysis of results of operations and do not focus on estimation the characteristics of the individual.

In the process of teaching physical education, we try to encourage the students' self-dependence in solving tasks, basing skillfully on previously learned material[2].

The essence of the technology, by which we work, is student-oriented, is in an individual approach to each student in the organization of physical training, in the formation of the conscious need in physical culture and sports and creative activities. This means that individual educational trajectory is created for each student personally, which takes into account individual body type, physical fitness, health and especially mental development. Knowing the features of physical development of students, we build physical training on individualization and differentiation of education. We offer to students exercises of different levels of difficulty, the opportunity to gradual mastering the necessary skills and abilities

In the process of learning activities, we introduce the different types of classes, their types of organization, use complex frontal, group, individual forms of work. We use a variety of methods and teaching techniques. Along with the combined classes, there are unusual classes using elements of modern classes: games, contests, competitions.

3) Information and communication technologies make it possible to organize the learning process in a new, higher level, providing a more complete learning [3]. This helps us in solving another problem, namely to make students interested in the formation health lifestyle.

Physical Education Classes include a large amount of material in theory, to which is allocated a minimum number of hours, so we use electronic presentations, which allow us to solve effectively this problem.

Many explanations of doing exercises to be practiced, historical documents and events, biography of the athletes, theoretical coverage of issues of different directions cannot be shown to students, so it is necessary to use different kinds of visibility.

For example, the use of ICT with cross-curriculum relations in the process of teaching physical education helps us to prepare interesting classes, and students more fully and deeply comprehend the material under study. The classes on the topic: "The History of the Olympic Games," it can be seen connection  with a number of subjects. The purpose of this lesson is to create a general idea of the Olympic Games, to promote the aesthetic relation to art, to bring a sense of patriotism. For the lesson is prepared with the use of ICT, students can see everything that we tell them about. Theoretical materials are perceived even better when there is more information and visual perception.

4) Under the technology of differentiated sports education (TDSE) refers to the purposeful physical formation of the person through the development of their individual abilities.

TDSE is a way to implement a differentiated content of sports education by means of systems, methods and organizational forms of providing effective achievement of the goal of education. Content of TDSE is a set of pedagogical technologies differentiated learning motor actions, development of physical qualities, formation of knowledge, teaching skills, educational process management technologies that achieve physical perfection [4].

The essence of TDSE is a holistic teaching method followed by differentiation (separation of parts due to their level of complexity), and then integrating these parts in different ways depending on the technical level of preparedness of students in order to do exercises better.

Motor actions education provides an opportunity to select operations for the solution of certain motor tasks. In this case, every student can master the motor action by the set of operations preferred for himself and that will be the basis for the formation of his personal, the most effective style of activity. For example, during revision of the educational material, we arbitrarily divide a group of students into subgroups, depending on the level preparation. We give one subgroup simplified preparatory exercises , the other - complex exercises, the third - the action as a whole, but in the lite version, etc. Students of the strong groups study up training material within the group, two sessions faster then students of middle and weak groups on the average, so the learning of motor actions finishes by  their performance of the studied exercises in competitive conditions, and students of the weak and middle groups continue to perform the exercise in parts or repeat it under standard conditions.

We undertake individual work with students who have failed in performance of a certain motor action. These students receive individual tasks on the lesson, and for home performance. In the final part of the session the group united, and all students perform the same exercise and play.

In evaluating of the physical preparation we take into account the maximum result and the result of the increase. Moreover, individual achievement is a priority. During the grading in physical education, we take into account the theoretical knowledge, the technique of the performance of motor actions and ability to  carry out the recreational activities. We widely use promotion methods, verbal approval. Some   students need to be convinced in their own abilities , to cheer up; others - to keep from excessive zeal; third - to spark the interest. All of methods this forms  a positive attitude towards the performance of tasks from students, and it creates a basis for social activism.

Temporarily released students, ascribed to the special medical group for health reasons, present in the classroom: they assist in the preparation of the inventory, judge, study the theory, the technique of performance of the motor actions. For students of special medical group, classes are held separately in their free time, they do exercises recommended by doctors.

A comprehensive study of a student, a comparison of different data allows us to identify the causes of the underrun of students during the program, to set the most important of these causes and implement pedagogical impact, based on the methodology of differentiated education.

Conclusions: The use of the technologies listed above for improving the efficiency and quality of physical education in modern conditions it is possible:

- to reveal the comprehensive abilities of students;

- to increase their interest of  the subject;

- to teach students to be more self-reliant;

- to teach students try to use this knowledge in different situations;

- improve the quality of students' knowledge;

- students become the winners of Olympiads in physical education.

Health-saving technologies, personality - oriented technology, informational communication technology, the technology of the differentiated physical  education - all essential features of our modern methods of teaching physical education.
