MODERN PEDAGOGICAL TERMS OF CONTROLLING IN THE

E-LEARNUNG PROCESS

Nowadays one of the most important means of improving the quality of education, effective management of training in high school is supervising, controlling and evaluating students applying advanced methods. Teaching foreign languages as a significant part of education process one can’t imagine without engaging multi-media programs in this process.

Today, in most high schools the system of credit and modular training has been actively implemented as a reflection of the needs of society in the preparation of highly skilled professionals that meet European educational standards. Practical application of the new system of education has led to the emergence of various schemes of implementation. The results of their application proved both positive and negative.

Detailed analysis of psychological and educational literature, teaching practice and personal experience clearly shows that the process of organizing some activities for its effectiveness needs to allocate certain terms for the implementation of a set of processes.

Despite the fact that the subject of a large number of educational researches are considered the pedagogical terms of certain processes in modern science, there are some differences in the interpretation of the term “pedagogical terms.” Lexical aspect of the term “terms” refers to “the necessary conditions conducive for some reason; circumstances, especially the reality in which changes are made.” The philosophical references describe “terms” as “philosophical category that expresses the relation of the subject to environmental effects, without which it can not exist.”

Advanced researches define “pedagogical terms” as series of objective opportunities, circumstances and events accompanying educational process and structured in a certain way to achieve the goal.

“Pedagogical terms” can be defined as the fact of communication, which acts as a result of a selection, design and use of your content, methods and structured forms of training to achieve their goals.

Summing up the above definition and basing on the supposition given in the research, we keep to the following definition of “pedagogical terms”: it’s the set of the circumstances, means and measures to facilitate the monitoring of the effectiveness of training students in the modern credit-modular training using e-learning.

Organization of control of learning activities of students in the system of credit-modular training requires compliance with certain requirements that facilitate the activation of teaching and e-learning of future professionals, their autonomy, enthusiasm and professional interest.

The cooperation of teachers’ activity and students’ learning process in the innovative environment provides a period when there observed awareness of training and education purposes, organizational principles of stewardship from the students’ point of view first of all. On the one hand, professional knowledge and skills of a teacher, on the other – students’ general skills in e-learning. Thus, the transition to a modern system of education and related proliferation of radically new control requires some adaptation period. Transition to the credit-module system actualizes some problems of development and application of e-learning, i.e. new information (computer) technologies in controlling and evaluating. The value of the use of new information technologies increases due to the peculiarities of the latter, because in this case significantly increases the proportion of independent work that requires active individual-oriented student inclusion in the educational process.

Pedagogical factors of the use of computer technologies in education and controlling due primarily an attempt to provide Socratic approach to teaching, which presupposes its active character. A critical factor in increasing the effectiveness of any training manifested its individualization, provide in a large group that's almost impossible. Computer technology training and controlling gives students a tremendous opportunity to independent personalized learning, but also requires students to mental and willpower efforts, concentration, consistency, rigorous thinking and developed imagination.

Perspectives of computer training and controlling programs in teaching foreign languages is that they are primarily of different levels and different kinds of tasks, problem situations, and so on. Second, it is possible to review the subject for several times, set more options for tasks and instantly see the result expressed in points.

Therefore, the effectiveness of control will increase if ensure productive (creative) interaction of teachers and students in the use of computer technology.

Analysis of psychological and educational research on problems of teaching and e-learning media monitoring practices indicate that the effectiveness of the monitoring of student learning activities depends not only on objective factors but also on subjective, particularly taking into account the individual characteristics of students.

This allowed us to assume that the effectiveness of controlling will increase if the alternative to ensure its types, forms and methods that facilitate self-expression, self-identity and self-performance of students is essential in a credit-modular training.
